ask and you shall recieve! thanks Ron ... I mentioned this in the FB forum and you have delivered re automation ... I still didn't picture it would work this way, fantastic to see. Thanks
Great tutorial, looking forward to the next episodes. I learn better by watching others and then try it for myself than reading the feature-documentation in the repository, so this is great for me!
It used to be that only Synthstrom knew what the code was, but since June they made the code available to anyone who wants to read it or change it. These are all features that have been developed and tested by volunteers over the last 5 months.
Hard to use? Not at all. Hard to master? Undoubtedly. There's just so much it can do, so many shortcuts, it's hard to remember them all. But songs come together so quickly with it, its crazy.
Oh man. So excited to dig into this. The automation page is such a great addition! The new velocity pad page for drums is cool too. One thing I’m still wondering… is there a way to randomize velocity yet? So a kick or hat for example isn’t always hit with exactly the same velocity? (like a real drummer..) I always program it in manually, but it sure would be nice to randomize it…
Ya that feature is def better than manually programming it per step! Would be cool to map to random eventually though too. Could be really nice for adding texture with keys too. Thanks for all you do! Appreciate you man!
Whoa check out all the other feature tutorials on this playlist!!! ua-cam.com/play/PLQvVnhG7o2ySxBxYQ6usQhLUgr445sEb2.html&si=m4s27hau2vZqz6BP
Really blown away by the new features, Thanks so much for explaining them, I'ts really needed!
So much new stuff to learn 🙈 subbed for upcoming brain support... Thx from Germany 🙏
The best is getting even better 👍👍👍
Oh man, so many amazing features today. Thanks for making this video, what a treasure trove of good stuff!
deluge, the investment that keeps on giving...
But wait there's more! Will be doing more deep dives !!!

There's way more to it I will be working on a detailed video to show it's depths
Excellent Ron. I have been waiting for this. Thank you
The clip launch grid is absolutely amazing new feature!

Yes more to come! I have to deep dive so I know it inside out but next up will be automation mode
thanks so much, ron!!
you are the bee's knees!!
Wow, love that randomize feature...
I hope they can do a similar thing in kit mode for 'multi' pitch. or be able to play pitch from a keyboard in kit mode
Well until then you can go into automation and automate pitch from there which is amazing
Hey Ron thanks for video. I don't understand what opensource means. Is this features made by other people or is this an official synthstrom update?
It used to be that only Synthstrom knew what the code was, but since June they made the code available to anyone who wants to read it or change it. These are all features that have been developed and tested by volunteers over the last 5 months.
This would be my first sort of groovebox and while it seems really cool I have the impression that its too complicated to use. So is it hard or not?
Id watch my deluge boot camp videos to see the workflow and to see if it's something you want to dive into.

I don't think there's a command for that yet but you could just use keyboard mode in drum kit and play it out, each square has velocity variation

To randomize drums I just mod the velocity of the drum I want using random, works great!
@@elwhagen oh wow that is actually a simple fix! Will note this on automation video !
Aww nice! So you can! I always thought velocity was locked to outboard midi controllers so I didn’t even try. Sweet! Thanks for the tip!
Ron Cavaknows, thanks
Thanks!
