How about the disaster that was buy to let, perhaps tenants that where used to cover the b2l mortgage should in any other world have been seen as the loan guarantors and thus property managers not tenants, if they’d been entitled to a share of the equity growth as either cash payment from the b2l landlord or assigned share of the increased equity of the appreciating asset… then maybe the housing market wouldn’t be so screwed 🤷🏻♂️
