I do have other videos you can check out with regards to their editing processes. I usually have the same workflow throughout.

Noticed you had continuous lights close by. Did they affect the image since you were shooting at an open aperture of 2.8?

Yes they did, but were insignificant. As the power of the continuous lights were very low for photos.

Thanks for the video, but Rembrandt was NOT a Dutch Photographer. He was a painter. As for 45 degrees, I'm a new photographer, but I believe Rembrandt's light was closer to 90 degrees. Your settings also puzzle me. Why f/2.8 and shutter speed of 1/160th? Were you trying to bring in ambient light? I noticed that you were also using the modelling lamp (which is a helpful thing for many of us beginners). Lastly, why did you use a boom? I noticed that heavy strobe is nearly over your model and the c-stand isn't sandbagged on the leg facing your model. Why did you pick the white interior for this shoot? And why a medium sized softbox (i.e. smaller or beauty dish would show the outline of the triangle a little better if at the same distance).

Great output, I corrected the profession in the video (lol)
      1. 90 degree lighting position introduces side lighting and that was not the aim of the lighting style in this video. I do always ask people to practice what i teach, so it is not set in stone...
      2. the choice of the aperture is to introduce depth in the image as she was very close to the background.
      3. safe to say, pointing your strobe in the direction of the prominent leg of the c-stand, gives it stability if done right.
      4. The white interior for a warm light, diffused highlights
      5. A medium sized ( which is not so much a medium sized softbox) is the bridge between the smaller sizes and the bigger sizes. Increasing distance increases how hard the light will become and that is not what i wanted.
