So far it’s holding up good. I used wurth high solids enamel satin black.

how is the weather stripping working on the rear tail gate ? and yes I. the rims, need something to break the black down,will you be putting a new oil pump in when you have oil pan off ?
Weatherstripping gave up after first rain. All the glue shit itself and it doesn’t stick. I won’t be doing oil pump for now.
@@SmokinMonkeyOG the weather strip I have has metal strip in it and fits over the the lip on the door

I have a 2.5 inch lift and its perfect....you dont need spacers in the trans skid plate either. Shocks and springs is it. I run 32's
hey this really gives me confidence! im getting a 2.5" lift this coming weekend installed on my TJ and you run 32s with no issues whatsoever? Id appreciate the honesty, this is going to be a big investment for me
In this video I have 31s currently with no rubbing on or off road and no lift. If you check out my latest video I just installed a 2.5 inch lift as well and I’m going to 33s. Only thing you might need to adjust is the steering stopper on the back of the steering knuckles. But you can get that done by the person doing your alignment just mention it to them when you get it done after the lift. Should take 2 seconds and you don’t pay extra for that adjustment.

You’ll clear in the back with a 15x8 on a 33x12.5, it’ll be a little tight in the front. With the cut fenders you should be good for clearance, just check your bump stops to see if your hitting the control arm. Good luck fam🤞🏾
With the 2.5 lift it should clear fine. I’ve looked it up and seems like lots of people go that route
You might need a negative offset rim or spacers. My 33x12.5 on stock 15x8 rims were pressing hard on the rear coil tower plate on the frame. I went with a 15x10 rim with a -44 offset.
Ya I’m planning to get new wheels, with a good amount of negative offset
@@SmokinMonkeyOG if you run 33x10.50x15 you would need new wheels, and keep in mind that 8 inch rims you can air down to like 8 lbs , 10 inch rims about 12 lbs or you will pop a bead, 10.50 wide tires go better in the mud also
10.5 better in mud than 12.5?
