As far as I remember, we had our first full Christmas concert in December 2004. I had offered that as a possibility to the GrooveChor at the beginning of 2004, on provision that we study Christmas arrangements for that entire year. And to our mutual surprise, everybody agreed - what a great commitment!
So we started with the Take 6 version of 'O come all ye faithful' in January, and during spring, summer, and fall worked our way through 'O du fröhliche', 'Vom Himmel hoch', 'Leise rieselt der Schnee', 'Alle Jahre wieder', 'Was soll das bedeuten', and 'Als ich bei meinen Schafen wacht', among others. All arranged for five part choir in my own groove-oriented, extended-harmony, and sometimes-super-complex-but-often-hilarious vocal language.

Beginnend bei sehr einfachen Versionen für Einsteiger- und Schülerchöre bis hin zu harmonisch und rhythmisch komplexen 5-stimmigen a cappella Arrangements für professionell arbeitende Ensembles.
