I like how his top said UNDFTD which I assume is Undefeated. Psychology is so important in football. When you're in a slump you need to let the players know they've not performed, but also that you believe in them. Calling them out to the media I don't understand, not that I understand managers being open in interviews. Less is more and keep problems internal.
I was a huge Rooney fan, although never really a Man U fan. I wanted him to succeed when he moved to Everton, I was hoping for a come back that never happened. I also rooted for him when he became Derby's manager, and really rooted for him as Birmingham's head man. While I agree that he has not succeeded as a manager, suffering the same fate as those of Lampard's or Gerard's, but I still believe every person can learn, especially all the 3 I mentioned their intelligence was a huge factor in their success on the pitch, therefore, they can become good managers, if they try hard and willing to learn from those who have been successful.
