Absolutely true. When I was first getting started I was using a low end hand- me- down tablesaw to make these elaborate plywood tackle boxes. There was considerable detail work with lots of specialty cuts. I did it all on this junky saw. I could hardly wait to get a 'real' saw, one with a heavy cast table and refined features.
