Hi Tina.. thanks for your kind help and very informative video. My friend and I will visit Stockholm next month.. and this video help us so much. thanks again
We're staying in Hotel C, which is also just across from the train station. I didn't plan this major convenience, and only discovered it when I watched a walking tour video of someone using the Arlanda Express. In their video I could see them exit the station - and there was my hotel! I about kicked myself for my good fortune in planning.
There’s something to be said for staying in a central location, makes moving around the city easy and convenient. Thanks for watching and your comment!
I'm going to Stockholm Arlanda airport flying from Tallinn, Estonia. The price is kinda steep, but still much cheaper than the taxi. My lodging is in the city center, so I don't really need taxis. Also having Swedish friends is a plus, so I won't feel like a total utländsk.
Ages 0 - 7 always travel for free. Ages 8 - 17 travel for free when accompanied by an adult (over 26 years). Ages 8 - 17 unaccompanied by an adult travel on a youth ticket.
You would take the line 7 tram. I use an app called Rome2Rio, put any 2 points in and it will tell you the options to get there, how long it will take and the cost. It’s amazing! Thanks for watching!
Hello from the airport to central station is there any point where we’d have to carry our luggage on stairs? Or are there elevators and escalators available?

Arlanda express is an absolute rip of it should be a crime. It is the most expensive public transport between an airport and the city center in the entire world. Even the Oslo airport express cost less and that is a longer distance and the general price level in Norway is higher than Sweden. That says a lot about how outrageous it is. If you are not in a hurry you can go by local bus to Märsta and take the commuter train from there at a fraction of the cost.
I will gladly pay the fee for the cleanliness, convenience , location & train arriving every 15 minutes. It seems people want everything, but don't want to pay for it.
Family trip to Stockholm in two weeks time and this video has been very helpful. Thank you.
Exciting! Have a wonderful time , I have several other videos on my channel about Stockholm and Sweden you might enjoy.
Excellent video! Just what I was looking for. You have gained a subscriber.

Hi! Love your videos. What’s the best way to get from the train station into Gamla Stan?
Thank you so much! We just walked, it wasn’t too far.
@@TinagirlTravels thx!

I don’t think so, I believe you’ll find elevators at both stations. Shouldn’t be a problem.

Thanks for sharing. Does Eurail International pass work for the Arlanda train? Thanks
Im not sure about that and I seem to be finding conflicting answers online. Send them an email, here’s the link.
mailto:arlandaexpress@atrain.se
@@TinagirlTravels I have got an answer from them. “Yes, you can use Eurail Global Pass to travel with the Arlanda express train. “
fyi during to summer the trains have changed plattforms so keep an eye out for info at the station
Good to know, thanks for the update!
If we are buying a ticket arlanda to stockholm express, can we combine 1 senior with 1 adult and get the 2 person discount
I’m not sure!
On the site it looks like it works out to the same amount of money either way.
hi, can we go to the central station from arlanda airport directly using the local bus, instead of the arlanda express, flixbus or taxi? thank you.
Good question! I’m not sure if the answer. There’s a really good for app called Moovit that may answer your question.
@@TinagirlTravels thank you so much
Is in Arlanda Express toilet?
Yes, the train has a toilet around the middle car.
Does the machine take U.S. credit cards?
Yes
If I heard right, you mentioned that you can use Uber to get from the Airport to your destination in Stockholm?
Yes you can.
Freaking expensive .... The same distance in Copenhagen - from airport to city - is a quarter the price.
Good to know!
Ja zum Wucherpreis!
Sometimes you want to get there quickly!
500 SEK for a train ride is a rip off! The best option is the bus 583 then the SL train to central Stockholm.
For many people, it’s not about the money. It’s about speed and convenience.

@@lucyterrier7905 Good for you😒
I went from Arlanda airport to Central station by Flixbus and I paid only 69kr each way.
this train will caputt your wallet.most expensive in europe.Take the flixbus instead for 79krona.
Sometimes time is money.
