After listening to the Soundcloud demos, I invested in Shake. This Walkthrough shows how valuable it is. SoundIron creates tools that allow us to rapidly complete projects. They form an important part of my Ableton Live 10/11 Suite. Native Instruments Komplete 13 allowed that to happen. Thanks again for being a quality company.

This looks very useful! I have a bunch of shaker and tambourine collections, but none are nearly as comprehensive or as musical as this one.

when drawing MIDI, the shaker is off timing (late), i'm aware because it has to include pre-hit of the shaker sample. What's the best method to remedy this? I tried to adjust the quantization of the midi but it takes a longer time to hit the perfect timing

    Nice!
Maybe consider adding keyswitches for the arp so that we can trigger different rhythms like with the loops.

So are we going to get a tutorial since you guys updated it and completely changed the UI
It looks nothing like this, it's almost useless to me now
I work on songs in 60 bpm often I had no trouble using 120s for my songs but now it trys to stretch 120 loops to 60 distorting the sounds .
Somehow over night this went from being one of my favorite Little gems to completely trash. Is there a way to revert back to this version ?

At 9:27 in the walkthrough, we explain how you can have the loops set to 'Beat' or 'Sync.' So, if you want the 60bpm loops to play over 120bpm without being stretched or synced, just make sure to have the mode set to 'Beat,' and you should be all good. Hope that helps!

Can I set a custom Tempo?

    • @SoundironAudio

Hi Daniel, if you're referring to the loops there are a variety of loops at different tempos. You can sync them to your DAW and even modify the playback order and slice order. Tons of options! There's also 10 multi-sampled instrument banks as well to play in the exact grooves you want.

Does this replace the original Shake? I have a project using the original that still has to be recorded and wonder if it will still work properly. Also, the loops seem to be in odd meter. Can that be altered?

No. This doesn't replace the original Shake. You can change the tempos and meters within the Loop Browser in the Loop nki's.
