The Sheldon and Amy breakup always makes me feel so bad seeing it. It reminds me of my own break up a couple years back. I was ready to ask the love of my life to marry me and she broke things off out of nowhere. It still haunts me until today too, as she never told me why. I am still not over her and I am pretty broken now and these episodes are tough for me to watch, although i still dont skip them. I just cry a little, which i never would have done for any show or movie ever lol
sheldon and amy are the worst couple on the show - so it does not bother me

There's a UA-cam video talking about why this is the worst episode and I agree, its so depressing and the attempts at humor fall flat. Leonard sucks, Sheldon sucks, the ending doesn't feel happy. I heard a rumor that they had filmed the kiss between leonard and Mandy and cut it. Not sure if that's true, but I think this plot line would've made a lot more sense if we had seen Leonard cheat on Penny two seasons ago and were waiting for him to reveal it. Instead this feels like it comes out of nowhere to create unnecessary conflict

penny and leonard are the best tv couple ever - being opposites does not make a relationship bad - sheldon and amy are opposites - howard and bernie are opposites - amy does not like comic books or comic book figurines -- amy likes sex more than sheldon does -same with bernie does not like the stuff howard is into - amy and sheldon science careers are opposites - bernie and howard science careers are opposites - no one every points this out they only focus on penny and leonard
Once The Big Bang Theory became the Shamy show, it was never the same.
i agree - i just focus on penny and leonard in the last two seasons and i never cared for sheldon and amy relationship - but writers and jim parsons were more worried about young sheldon than tbbt
@@wuxin5847 the big reason for me feeling it was a mistake to focus on Sheldon and Amy’s relationship so much in the later seasons is because Amy wasn’t on the show from the very beginning. In fact, I don’t think she appeared in every episode of a season until season 7.
They actually acted that scene out! Awkward.

Side note: I don’t think Leonard was trying to sabotage the relationship. Usually when people disclose something that would hurt their partner, but doesn’t accomplish anything by revealing it, it’s about making oneself feel better. It’s not so much about being honest for their partner’s sake.
Leonard was feeling guilty about it and wanted to alleviate his own guilt.

The implication in what I said was that Leonard did it for himself and not for Penny which of course by definition makes it a selfish act on his part. Way to drive home the point I had already made. 😩
@@wuxin5847 Also of course I was exaggerating about Penny’s hair. There was bound to be people who like it. The reason why her hair was only short for one season was because it was received so negatively. The majority of people hated it so they made her grow it out again. Kaley has even said as much in multiple interviews. Next time before you call someone a liar know what you’re talking about. 🙄

They just dropped a contradiction between the Big bang theory and young Sheldon. In Young Sheldon, his brother Georgie has been married to the same woman since he was 18.
No, they def do not say that in Young Sheldon. They say his first marriage was when he was 18 and the title of the spinoff "Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage" implies they will get divorced

Am I the only one that can’t stand how Amy acts. She’s like “oh it’s just Sheldon being Sheldon, that’s who he is” and then he says something way less Sheldon than usual and she gets insanely upset and mad. Ridiculous script for the episode but 🤷🏼♂️ I guess they have to for the reasoning
Penny is upset about the kiss of the woman she didn't see, and is pretty vague, but conveniently forgot about the sex with Priya and the older lady hookup that she does now about! lol It's a funny show, but such an unrealistic relationship.
She didn't forgot, but what does that have to do with anything? They weren't in a relationship when those happened?
So do you think it is unrealistic to be upset that someone you're going with makes out with someone else, or not to hold the fact that they had relations with ANYONE else ever when you were not together? Either way, you've got some weird expectations of a realistic relationship.
