Actually this is already a historical video. There is no way to film similar footage, with that huge water patches, since from today, January 9, 2023 the airport of Corfu is closing for runway repairs, till further notice.
Actually they will fix those areas close to threshold of runway 16 (the deep water patches). The surface repare works will be ready before the start of summer season 2023
I spent two years in the 1980’s working as a Holiday Rep in Corfu and in those days the Britannia pilots had it nailed with virtually every aircraft stopping before the intersection and thus avoiding a delaying back track. I saw it all in that airport in those years lol
