The countless nights......staying up all night while everyone else is asleep...questing in Netherstorm. I remember thinking that I wanted that moment to last for weeks! I hoped no one would wake up and tell me to stop playing and go to bed. It was just me and my Lock. It was our time to have fun. I miss those times....
+The Fart Song I loved grinding at night. When the house was completely quiet I would sit there with my headphones. It was so relaxing!
I remember being level 71 with my B.elf destro lock questing here :)
Warlock was so pretty in tbc :( Legion screwed up destroy now >.
Huh? TBC had a cap of 70. So either your memory serves you poorly, or you were there as a tourist from WotLK or later.
This is the most "out there" WoW has ever gotten. A slab of purple rock in the middle of space set to the tune of distorted synth riffs. Far out.

WoW needs more surrealistic locations like this. Netherstorm is my favourite zone in the game, love the "alien" feel. I was very disappointed to not see Farahlon in WoD :/
Quite the difference in composition style between then and now; the TBC ambience was clearly made with the insight that people would be listening to this over a long period of time, therefore it has to be mood-building but not "specific" enough as to not become tiresome and repetitive. No way I can get tired of the Shadowmoon Valley ambience or the Hellfire Peninsula theme - which also contains the wonderfully serene and melancholic theme of Chopin's Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Op. 27, No. 1.
I remember dinging level 70 in Netherstorm all those years ago! It was right by the Fel Reaver wreck in Netherstorm. Crazy how I remember this after all these years! TBC was the best!
This tune is sooooo EPIC and ATMOSPHERIC!!! I alone must have given this video 100 views. I can't get enough. It's perfect for working and doing art!

This zone and everything associated with it was the icing on the BC cake. The creative process in creating this futuristic atmosphere is unparalleled elsewhere in WoW.

Favorite zone in Outland. It had Eco domes, floating islands to run around on connecting by tubes of energy going to enemy outposts. I loved the purple color and how it was all open and had spikes all around
Shadowmoon valley and netherstorm were 2 great zones in BC... sad that they are so easy to skip with northrend being lvl68 and questing being so fast&furious.
honestly I do these BC and Wrath zones to the last quest and just skip Cata zones start zones, or do them and skip jade forest in MOP, Hated that zone.
My memories here from BC days was odd. I was on a PVP server (Frostwolf). Horde
and Ally were in the same boat, trying to hit that level 70 cap. It felt like we tolerated
each other here while questing, like a virtual handshake, then i'll see you on the
battlefield at lvl 70 type thing, very eerie on my first toon,

i remember it having a part with loud high pitched electrical guitar screetch, but dont find it in these videos.. strange
It took me way to long to reach lvl 70. By the time I reach it, I was in this zone and the final BC update was released that got the game ready for WoTLK. LOL I only had a few XP to go as well.
I finally got my druid to lvl 70....and the very next day was WOTLK XD! But hey that scourge invasion event was one of the best memories I've ever had on this game

***** Wait, I read that as "changeless" instead of "challengeless." My bad. I was going to point out the different stuff they added, but I see that's pointless now. Anyway, yeah, it's pretty easy. I wouldn't really know, since I'm into WoW for the lore and storyline and music and shit like that, so I never pay much attention to that, but when I think about it, I'd say it's a bit _too_ easy to level now. I got from 90 to 100 before I was in Nagrand. Just questing. Over the course of a few days. And I'm not even that good.

This music has a strong Torchlight feel to it.
That's because it's made by the original composer for Diablo 3 in 2002-2003. Diablo 3 was cancelled and Uelman's soundtrack became a giant portion of BC.

yes hands down. Wow has never been as close to a perfect game than with Wotlk. Pandaria, Legion etc... never existed in my eyes

Wotlk i the start of its downfall by adding a shit class called as deathknight and that year wow was removed out of competitive gaming due to balance...
And as blizzard stated that they dont have any interest in to pushing wow in such a way...

yeah right scrub... new things when a class is equal in every other aspect of the game to any class and it just has it all ...at that time Dk pets were op + garg insane their heal from sac pet was op their CC was insane remeber the slow where you were slowd down to 90 % and then it wears off slowly as you move , they do more dmg then a warrior and + they had defensive stuff like bone shield that was 40% dmg reduction ...and ON BEHALF OF ALL THOUS THINGS they Had Death coil spam 3 in a row

ps: when they die in arena they still fight for 1 min as a ghoul so if you are left in a 1v1 combat in the arena against a dk
All that i wrote above + hes attaceking you for 1 min after you kill'd him
So even if you manage to beat him he will revive and finish you while you have low hp
