Really enjoyed First Samurai, back in the day. But Never played the sequel. Enjoying it here for the first time :) 1:06:04 - This background art. Looks like it was paying homage to IK+ ;) 1:17:25 - a reference to a Samurai, pursuing the Demon King through time. Very much like Samurai Jack did, later on
Honestly I see no graphical differences to the OCS/ECS version on the AMIGA 500 what so ever! Are you sure this is actually an AGA version?! I didn't know an exclusive A1200 version even existed!!
The 1200 game has more detailed backgrounds. That's about it and its pretty much the only difference in many other games which have both 500/1200 releases. Compare this video side by side if you can with RickyCs A500 recording. (will be on this channel soon)
Bought it, played it to death and completed it during spring 1994. The game was a bit too much on the silly/goofy side for my taste but was undeniably a ton of fun to play.
This is a masterpiece of gameplay e game design. Very low games ware like this one. Much better than first samuray
HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH!
A really good, heavy soundtrack to a fairly decent Amiga platformer.

So the font is the same as Samurai Showdown, but the plot is Samurai Jack?

It is different from Mega vers.
Not much benefit from the newer hardware here. Needn't really have bothered with an AGA version...
The AGA version has new and better backgrounds and supposedly more vivid colours a good upgrade I think🤘🏻

No one cares go touch grass.
No Nvidia, you were not the first...
Second… as in second samurai. I win
