I agree with sheev, I tested the $30 budget, and this deck is very consistent. For example, with the field spell, the beasts just absolutely overwhelm your opponent since they cannot die to card effects. With all the new supports, these beasts show up in the board very very often.

I like it, I really like it! Konami knows this is NOT AT ALL a competitive archetype yet they really put some thought and effort into giving these guys some amazing support. Omni searchers? Check. GY recursion/recovery? Check. Ways to make the big bois more comfortable to summon? Check. A synergetic play style? Check. Some negaters and floodgates? Check. I definitely will get 3 cuz they actually tried with The Sacred Beasts and gave them an ACTUAL play style this time.

Honestly back when GX was airing I never would have imagined it would get its own structure deck sure it's not competitive but the cards are pretty creative
For a non-competitive deck, it's pretty stacked. Reminds me of the Marik Gravekeepers deck they released some few years back. Slapped in Raw, Sphere-mode, and immortal mode and it's kinda stupid in casual play.
Actually, if you have the card for the Light Sacred Beast you can use Raviel's effect to tribute it, it gains 8k, you are unable to take dmg from Mgc Cly because the first card's last effect, and can double atk to 16,000!
I imagine the few seemingly random continuous spell or trap cards were part reprint, and part just fodder if you want to summon the sacred beasts with their proper "procedure".
i mean fortunately there's actually someone who reads the cards from the structure deck and talks about them instead of sniffing them for 20 minutes while plugging his merch sry had to say it

I haven't played Yugioh in over 18 years and I ordered this deck just for fun and because I remember really liking the Sacred Beasts in the anime. Maybe I'll actually play again haha
To be fair Dark Summoning Beast works as a turn one option for getting a Sacred Beast out since you cannot attack going first it makes sense. It's also a good way to ensure you have 2 Beasts out for the Trap card.

So finally had the opportunity to pick up this deck. Bought one of the last two at my local Walmart (the only place I could find them). To my surprise it came with an extra Raviel Lord of Phantasms. I know it would have been better if it had been Shimmering scraper but beggars can't be choosers. Also no they didn't accidently replace one card with the extra Raviel, I went through the deck list and saw every card was there. My guess is the two Raviels simply got stuck together.
during the past month I've been dueling with this deck and it's so cool. You can easily summon raviel and hamon in the first turn and set up the trap that locks out my opponent. Fallen paradise saved me a lot of times, giving protection and the draw 2. its fun and i cant wait to have them
I just built it today. Seems to function just fine making a stun board. Edit: misread hyper blaze. Thought it summoned one from the deck, and same with dark summoning beast. The level 5 one. Now im sad

I disagree I believe it has the potential to be competitive. Think about it, negations, draw power, powerful beaters, protection, skill drain abilities, you can summon them so easy now, otk greatness, fine going first leaving solid ending boards, fair consistency, removal effects, recovery, grave effects, good amount of searching, the support they got is really really good that I believe in my personal opinion it could make them at least rogue tier, the only way it can be good is if you make it good, you have the tools now you gotta finish the rest, and if people decide to pick this up and show representation for the deck and top with it, and it could go tier 2. So don't underestimate this deck. Because if you are not ready, it can clap them cheeks before you even know it. That's all. Take care.
To answer the question about blaze cannon since it say ignore the summoning condition you actually can dump them to summon with that trap. Think about it under normal situations you can only special summon them from the hand and ignoring summon conditions means you don't have to summon them correctly in the first place since the other monsters are cheating them out it would be a terrible ruling if just for few situations that effect had restrictions on it and it be one of thee dumbest thing koonami could do.
Armityle is always going to be bad, but I like the rest of it. I think this could be spliced together with one or two of the Egyptian God Structure Decks and some single cards to make a Beat Stick Engine. The Malicevorous in particular I think would go great with something like that. That card that allows you to bring back Banished Dark Monsters is a godsend. Overall, I think this Deck would only need a little tweaking to be competitively viable and is easily malleable for experimenting and fun.

That's how a structure deck works. You get 3 boxes of the structure deck then make a 40 card deck using the materials they provide you with. If you want to make a more competitive build, you would have to utilize more staple backrow supports and extra deck monsters.
Can you make a video on the atrocious quality of the cards they've been printing recently? I've seen cards from this structure come with damaged corners and other scuffs. seems like nobody is really talking about this.
Two years later and this is as perfect a structure legacy deck as it gets. Anyone who's been playing it can testify that it's just pure fun. Konami actually managed to form a cohesive, synergetic engine outta 3 shitty monsters that were way too hard to summon. Look at how easy they made it to summon them with 2-3 cards. And then you compare them with the Egyptian God cards who are an absolut mess when splashed together. Even with all those support cards they're nowhere near as cohesive as the Sacred Beasts
Yeah this is unfortunate about Hyper Blaze. *Even with an effect that ignores the Summoning conditions, Nomi and Special Summon-only monsters cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard or if banished unless they have first been properly Special Summoned.[1]*
Yea this structure is not that good but the support is insane. Im def buying the singles for raviel otk and i wish the holo spots would have went to beckoning, summoning, gates, and awakening mainly since arma and the sb's have holo prints

I’ve always wanted to make a deck out of the Sacred Beasts, but out of today’s meta and just today’s style of play it’s been difficult, any thoughts on trying to make a Deck Profile would be awesome. I’ll be sure to try it out with my friends!
Spell Chronicle and Rainbow Dark Dragon are basically just here because it's representative of Yubel, there's not much to it in terms of actual viability. Chaos Core enables a 1-card Armityle that you take no damage from, and if you have the Field Spell, it also can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects, so that's worth something at least. I really like how it has both a Phantasmal Martyr Token AND a Phantasm Token, that's cute to have even if Phantasmal Martyrs is one of the worst cards in the game.
Still super annoyed with how the three beasts were given the Ultra slots they were, especially with the Ultras from DUSA looking so much better imo, but that aside, this is my favorite structure deck in years
Ime always a bit uneasy when it comes to cards that effect cards with a particular name, but can a shimmering scraper use its effect to effect another shimmering scraper, This the same problem I have with cyber dragon cards that effect “cyber dragon”, would “cyber dragon infinite” be effected as well.
The can't attack effect of Dark Summoning Beast: I don't think will care. People do play Gogogo Gigas on Andimastor (sorry. Don't know how to write it right) ;)
This could of been a great reprint for Summon Limit as a common. It makes sense make the Beast more of a control deck slowing down the opponent and punish them with the big bois. And so other people have cheaper options as a side deck card
With Raviel and Armytile now having recieved alternate versions, I really hope they'll give the same treatment to Uria and Hamon at some point down the line
I find "opening of the spirit gates" an interesting card. Even though you can activate only one per turn, it's actual effects aren't HOPT, so they can stack if you make them stick. They can also provide search for other fiends, and continuous spell recursion for any deck that runs lv 10s. Can I think of any deck where this matters? Nope. Can I imagine one ever existing? Absolutely.
Hey guys, So recently I've been wanting to build a new deck for the strongest entry-level competitive play as of early 2021. As a budget player I think picking up 3 copies of a structure deck would be a good starting point (or I guess buying singles works too). My budget is $40-60 but I'm not really sure what to get. I have already purchased the following structure decks for casual play at $20s each (Australian dollar): - 1x Mechanized Madness - 1x Scared beast - 1x Pendulum domination I was thinking about buying 3x Dinosmasher’s fury since their recent reprinting, BUT unfortunately, I may not buy them for competitive play because of the Limited status of Miscellaneousaurus in the current banlist. I enjoy Sacred Beasts and Machinas but i am also considering Shaddols, Rokkets, Dinosmasher’s fury, Soul Burner (salamangreats) and Zombie Horde. For the strongest competitive play on a budget in early 2021, should I buy 2 more of either Mechinized Madness or Sacred Beasts; or should I buy 3x of another specific structure deck? What are your suggestions?

I just got this deck after seeing it a few months ago and it's easily the strongest deck I have (I don't play competitively and don't get new cards very often) The other deck I have that might be playable is the Endymion deck that came out years ago, really want the new one that makes it better in my opinion, the deck that I really want as my main isn't likely to be competitive as I want to use elementals (NOT elemental heoroes, monsters made from the actual elements or at least wield them) with spell and traps that have a similar vibe to them
Could someone explain why Hyper Blaze can only use the effect to Special Summon if the Sacred Beast in question was already Special Summoned at some point before? I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh in a few months, so maybe I am forgetting some rule, but that doesn't make sense to me when it says "ignoring its summoning conditions."
How do you know hyper blaze can only summon from the graveyard if they were properly summoned first? I didn’t see anything on the card indicating that.

To get a full sacred beast set is awesome, ime always up for any structure deck that gives you a compete set of any archetype thumbs up to Konami, I do question the filler, yes they have given us practically almost every card in the anime that was used by any one who used the sacred beasts, but they could have done better, I mean there are a bunch of trap cards that can be treated as monster they could have given us, plus they could have done better with the spells and monsters, I mean just take inspiration from duel links their are several decks that focuse on the individual sacred beasts that cards could have been included from instead.
Glad I waited for this instead of paying three times as much for LC2. Not that it doesn't have decent cards, but it's the Sacred Beasts I'm really interested in.
on opening if you were going to make the perfect searcher you would let it search any card not just monsters. as is it can't search the field or cerulean and awakening isn't skill drain. it is skill drain on the opponent only

I think it'd be very interesting to remove monsters from the last half of the deck and triple the other cards. Keep what's about sacred beasts but the rest can be sided or just put in use for another deck ig. Maybe make a video on how to improve this deck?

About Cerulean Skyfire: The negation effect is not a trigger effect. That means if I say no then it's a no. You can't even Ogre over it.
Also, since it isn’t a chain link, you can actually use it to negate counter traps.

This happened to me with Uria, I got 4 total in 3 structure decks without any missing cards

You’re right all my holos from this deck had a slit at the bottom like from a blade I was more than angered to say the least.
It’s more quality control is lacking during COVID times so some be rushed and some aren’t checked properly to meet deadlines

I've been waiting for that since I was 12 lol (22 now) I'm definitely getting that and I don't care if they say it aint good for competing.
Two years later and this is as perfect a structure legacy deck as it gets.
Anyone who's been playing it can testify that it's just pure fun.
Konami actually managed to form a cohesive, synergetic engine outta 3 shitty monsters that were way too hard to summon.
Look at how easy they made it to summon them with 2-3 cards.
And then you compare them with the Egyptian God cards who are an absolut mess when splashed together.
Even with all those support cards they're nowhere near as cohesive as the Sacred Beasts

Yea this structure is not that good but the support is insane. Im def buying the singles for raviel otk and i wish the holo spots would have went to beckoning, summoning, gates, and awakening mainly since arma and the sb's have holo prints

Yeah I'm thinking of buying this structure deck just to get 3 pot of desires, I can't find singles of this card for less than £10 a copy here in the UK so it would literally be cheaper to buy 3 copies of this structure deck than 3 pot of desires
Chaos Core is very useful when you brick, which isn’t that rare in this deck
This deck remind me of ddd with their contracts the opening of the spirit gates it’s like the contract of the gate they have similarities
Spell Chronicle was included because Yubel while possessing Marcel, who played this deck in the anime, used this card during the duel all this stuff was used! Subbed gx is excellent
I’ve been making your deck profiles for $30 budget structure decks since the soulburner structure deck video you made I’ve used them in locals before the epidemic I’d usually do good at locals one time i used Shaddoll deck and almost made the finalsbut time ran out
I’ve always wanted to make a deck out of the Sacred Beasts, but out of today’s meta and just today’s style of play it’s been difficult, any thoughts on trying to make a Deck Profile would be awesome. I’ll be sure to try it out with my friends!
Spell Chronicle and Rainbow Dark Dragon are basically just here because it's representative of Yubel, there's not much to it in terms of actual viability.
Chaos Core enables a 1-card Armityle that you take no damage from, and if you have the Field Spell, it also can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects, so that's worth something at least.
I really like how it has both a Phantasmal Martyr Token AND a Phantasm Token, that's cute to have even if Phantasmal Martyrs is one of the worst cards in the game.

Still super annoyed with how the three beasts were given the Ultra slots they were, especially with the Ultras from DUSA looking so much better imo, but that aside, this is my favorite structure deck in years

Ime always a bit uneasy when it comes to cards that effect cards with a particular name, but can a shimmering scraper use its effect to effect another shimmering scraper,
This the same problem I have with cyber dragon cards that effect “cyber dragon”, would “cyber dragon infinite” be effected as well.
For the casual player, this deck screams Montage Dragon... lol (psst! Montage Dragon support!! XD)
The can't attack effect of Dark Summoning Beast: I don't think will care. People do play Gogogo Gigas on Andimastor (sorry. Don't know how to write it right) ;)
This could of been a great reprint for Summon Limit as a common. It makes sense make the Beast more of a control deck slowing down the opponent and punish them with the big bois. And so other people have cheaper options as a side deck card
With Raviel and Armytile now having recieved alternate versions, I really hope they'll give the same treatment to Uria and Hamon at some point down the line

I find "opening of the spirit gates" an interesting card. Even though you can activate only one per turn, it's actual effects aren't HOPT, so they can stack if you make them stick. They can also provide search for other fiends, and continuous spell recursion for any deck that runs lv 10s. Can I think of any deck where this matters? Nope. Can I imagine one ever existing? Absolutely.

So recently I've been wanting to build a new deck for the strongest entry-level competitive play as of early 2021. As a budget player I think picking up 3 copies of a structure deck would be a good starting point (or I guess buying singles works too). My budget is $40-60 but I'm not really sure what to get.
I have already purchased the following structure decks for casual play at $20s each (Australian dollar):
- 1x Mechanized Madness
- 1x Scared beast
- 1x Pendulum domination
I was thinking about buying 3x Dinosmasher’s fury since their recent reprinting, BUT unfortunately, I may not buy them for competitive play because of the Limited status of Miscellaneousaurus in the current banlist.
I enjoy Sacred Beasts and Machinas but i am also considering Shaddols, Rokkets, Dinosmasher’s fury, Soul Burner (salamangreats) and Zombie Horde.
For the strongest competitive play on a budget in early 2021, should I buy 2 more of either Mechinized Madness or Sacred Beasts; or should I buy 3x of another specific structure deck?
What are your suggestions?

Spell Chronicle was played by Yubel, who played the Sacred Beasts. I'm actually surprised Yubel didn't get a spot in the deck, since he is also a Fiend with 0 attack and defense, lol
I just got this deck after seeing it a few months ago and it's easily the strongest deck I have (I don't play competitively and don't get new cards very often) The other deck I have that might be playable is the Endymion deck that came out years ago, really want the new one that makes it better in my opinion, the deck that I really want as my main isn't likely to be competitive as I want to use elementals (NOT elemental heoroes, monsters made from the actual elements or at least wield them) with spell and traps that have a similar vibe to them
This is actualy my second best deck after OTK accient gear so it is actualy really good
Could someone explain why Hyper Blaze can only use the effect to Special Summon if the Sacred Beast in question was already Special Summoned at some point before? I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh in a few months, so maybe I am forgetting some rule, but that doesn't make sense to me when it says "ignoring its summoning conditions."
How do you know hyper blaze can only summon from the graveyard if they were properly summoned first? I didn’t see anything on the card indicating that.
I want it just for the dark rainbow dragon, I'm trying to fit the neos fusion package into my shaddolls since it already runs the hero engine

I don't know what you have but the begining ,the attributes of card shine in a non-friendly-epileptic matter.
To get a full sacred beast set is awesome, ime always up for any structure deck that gives you a compete set of any archetype thumbs up to Konami, I do question the filler, yes they have given us practically almost every card in the anime that was used by any one who used the sacred beasts, but they could have done better, I mean there are a bunch of trap cards that can be treated as monster they could have given us, plus they could have done better with the spells and monsters, I mean just take inspiration from duel links their are several decks that focuse on the individual sacred beasts that cards could have been included from instead.

Glad I waited for this instead of paying three times as much for LC2. Not that it doesn't have decent cards, but it's the Sacred Beasts I'm really interested in.

on opening if you were going to make the perfect searcher you would let it search any card not just monsters. as is it can't search the field or cerulean and awakening isn't skill drain. it is skill drain on the opponent only

I have the same question. Bit Cimo wrote in the video that "must be first properly summon".
Sacred beast core as an engine (like invoked) will be incredibly powerful with eldlich etc.
I think it'd be very interesting to remove monsters from the last half of the deck and triple the other cards. Keep what's about sacred beasts but the rest can be sided or just put in use for another deck ig. Maybe make a video on how to improve this deck?
Someone PLEASE try to find a way to make this at least somewhat playable in tourneys
