Sergio"s bass playing is always amazing! His tone is off the hook too... This band rips.. I still crank "Manic Compression" all the time. Record slams..

I've always thought Quicksand should've gotten more notoriety than they have, Great fucking band to just jam to. Even Interiors kicks ass. I've seen them live probably 7 times and they have never disappointed (even when they were the opening act). I hope they make their way to Minnesota one more time.
My first concert ever was Quicksand/Snapcase/Deftones at The Quest. Did you see that one? Would've been 1998.
@@Zach_Beebe No I didnt but wish I would've. I've seen Quicksand at First Ave, the Xcel and a few more venues. They always were opening for so many shittier bands than themselves. My favorite was prolly when they headlined at First Ave about 4 or 5 years ago. They killed it. I've always liked Deftones too. Saw them at First Ave with Limp Bizkit back before Bizkit's first album came out. Fucking awesome show

Just bought Clutch tickets and these guys are one of the openers. Listening for the first time- I will definitely get there in time for Quicksand!

I've seen them 3 times. Twice with Tom. No slight against Tom - they played like kings without him and the sound was the best I've ever heard in a live venue. No joke.

They sound a lot more vapory and wispy as a 3 piece but they need their second guitarist back

Awesome I had to do 9 months in jail for bullshit pill charge (long story) the one thing that help me get through was this album Interiors over and over again on my tablet...yes was lucky enough to get tablet in there ...........May 4 I am free and cannot wait to start playing solo acoustic gigs and open mics been a long 3 and a half yrs ....ty Quicksand and of course my other fav band Sergio plays in Deftones...............huge fan of Quicksand saw them live in Boston 92? 93? also in June 2000 Worcester Paladium Worcester Mass with Deftones White Pony tour best show ever!!!!

I wasn't convince of the new tone for Too Official but the more I hear it the more I like it, sounds much hazey and upbeat.

the guitar and bass are down and missing frequencies: BECUASE; this is a board recording, the engineer is mixing the back line with the PA (including subs) to mix the whole room. (That’s why people are loving it, it sounds amazing IN FRONT OF THAT STAGE and beyond) so unfortunately it’s not the full sound, but it is proof of how big the Quicksand sound is.

Very cool but I hate when bands in this tier level leave out their most played song on radio & the one that got people hooked which is of course Fazer. What a bummer to go to this and not hear it.

Quicksand were on the same compilation album as my band in 1993. It was called "DINE ALONE". Immediately fell in love with it, I learned so much from it, and the subsequent album/singles/bsides/etc... and as a singer, Walter, you are THE MAN!!! As brilliant as this new album is, there is something about it that annoys the shit out of me, as it did when i heard Courtney Love's "HOLE" second album. Walter, why are you "dropping off down" every high note? It's not like I expect screams, because everything about this new album is BRILLIANT... I just wonder why you don't just hit the high note for half a second, rather than dropping it down slowly like you are now? It seems very strange. Because you have so much power. I love your music. always have, so don't get me wrong. And if you read this, please don't take it personally.... I love what you guys do, always will. And it was really nice to shake your hand when you came to Sydney, Australia. Thank you.

Amazing band, solid and long last but to be honest a cult following type only and I love that shit. You're famous in my eyes dudes. I could meet any hollywood star or quicksand and I would choose to meet these guys. Keep rocking even though your voice is a bit off kilter live. No worries. lol NYHC for life. I guess Walter never had the makings of a varsity singer but all good.
