      They came from my grandfather. When I saw them I was stunned with the quality of them and the variety of the set. Thanks for Watching!

    I couldn't deal with the covered "junk" drawer. I drilled out the rivets holding the cover on and converted it to a regular drawer. The cover can be added back with a few small bolts (or rivets), not that I'd ever want to do that. That drawer is at an ideal height for much more useful stuff, plus it has the strong ball detents to hold it open. I also wish Milwaukee added those detents on more drawers, especially the full-length drawer. They definitely need to consult me first next time. :)

      Yea the junk drawer can be a little overwhelming but I usually have stuff in there that has no place elsewhere. Like safety glasses, razorblades, sharpies, spare hose. But if you dont have things like that then taking the cover off is definitely a good idea.

    How you keep your tools from rusting

    • @scottwalker19

      Well the tool box is in a garage, so the temperature is controlled to some degree. I know in the past when I have kept tools in a shed they have rusted because of the moisture that gets held in during the humid summer months. When I moved all of my tools from the shed to the garage I did my best to clean all of the chrome wrenches, sockets and things like that because they had a very small amount of rust on them. That has helped not allow them to keep rusting since rust can spread once it starts.

    Wrench holders!

    • @scottwalker19
      @scottwalker19  4 роки тому

      I thought I mentioned it in the video but the drawers are too shallow to hold the bigger wrenches in a wrench holder so I opted to just lay them out. I know it is wasting space but the drawers are too shallow to keep anything else beside wrenches anyways.

      @@scottwalker19 I use Ernst 6050. Look em up. I can hold large wrenches in my smallest drawer

      I will check those out. I have been looking to get some as when I get more wrenches I will need more room. I was considering getting a bigger box at some point but I am not sure when I will get one. Thanks!

      Scott Walker look at the angled tool box widgets. They are a game changer for wrench organization.
