- Who is Loretta Jones? Noel Jones is engaged to Loretta Jones. A few years ago on Preachers of LA they shared some details about their unique relationship.
Bishop Noel Jones is now engaged to be married to his best friend Ms. Lorretta Jones. We are praying for God's blessings to be upon you Bishop Jones and trust that 2022 will be a year of great blessings for you and your wife to be.
Who is Loretta Jones?
After many years, Bishop Noel Jones found his companion in Loretta Jones! His 72nd birthday turned out to be extra special, for his long-time partner, as he revealed he will be getting engaged, and marrying Loretta soon.
Loretta has remained loyal to Bishop Jones, and the City of Refuge Church, for more than two decades. After the airing of Preachers of LA several years ago, it appeared that this beautiful, and strong woman may not be able to change Bishop Noel Jones mind, about getting married. But despite the long wait she has now graduated from friend to First Lady.
So, who is Loretta Jones?
It is believed that she is in her late 50’s, and is both a leader and a devoted follower, within the ranks of the City of Refuge Church. On the other hand, her to-be-husband Noel Jones, was born on 31 January 1950 and is a descendent of Jamaica. Bishop is one of seven children to the late Bishop Robert and Marjorie Jones.
Bishop Noel Jones is a famous pentecostal preacher that speaks all around the world. He is a kind and flamboyant spiritual leader that is on the cutting edge of ministry and life. Despite being 72 years young his ministry transcends his denomination, culture and community demographics.
On the other hand his wife to be is very different. Loretta is a very private lady, and doesn’t spend too much time in the public eye. She is gifted in supporting, and promoting others which will make her an excellent help meet for Bishop Noel Jones. She has almost no social media presence, but was a larger than life figure in the Preachers of LA television show. Where she often times acted as protector voice of reason to Bishop Noel Jones. Any one who watched that series could see how much she loved, and respected Bishop Jones.
Despite her desiring to be in the background this proposal and engagement with Bishop Jones has now thrust her into the lime light. Since the day bishop announced their engagement, the media has put the lady in the spotlight, resulting in more coverage than ever. Newspapers from LA to India have been covering the celebration of the Bishop preparing to break his celibacy with his true love.
According to sources, Loretta is currently a restaurant owner, and Chef. She runs a restaurant, called JJ’s Bistro, in Inglewood California. The restaurant is jointly owned by her and Bishop Noel Jones! The Bistro is named after their pet dog J.J. Loretta solely operates and is the CEO of La Kouture Boutique.
This amazing woman of God is an entrepreneur, a business woman and an excellent volunteer coordinator. Bishop Jones testified some years ago that she is the best coordinator that he has ever met, and allows her to lead many of his community and church programs.
Loretta has organized the annual, Thanksgiving Celebrations which were well attended prior to the covid 19 pandemic. Celebrities, sports stars, and government officials like Maxine Waters would often attend these functions. In addition thousands of people from the community would come and celebrate with great food, games and fun. All organized by the beautiful, strong and kind Loretta Jones.
The community and the church are in love with Loretta, and thankful for all the love that she has given to them over the years. Covid 19 has been an especially difficult time for Loretta and the city of refuge church, but we are confident as we look forward to the future that the Lord will continue to bless this wonderful woman and use her to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Loretta prefers a low-key lifestyle, and, it has been this way from the beginning.
The couple seems to have grown, and supported each other, since the beginning, to be where they are today.
She sold herself short. If Jones really loved her it would not have taken this long. This is a marriage of convenience.

A lot comments are saying she waited 28 years when I don’t think she waited per se. They were friends and I’m sure they both did date and see others before realizing what they were looking for was in what they had in each other. On the show she was always really honest with him and they had a great friendship at the time. I congratulate them on finding love in each other. There is so much hate and chaos in the world to find someone to walk through it with is a true blessing and no matter how old they are at least they finally found it, MANY people won’t, so I’m always happy when someone does.

I was present on that awesome day celebrating Bishop’s birthday. When he surprisingly included his proposal I felt honored that he shared this special moment with his congregation. He is a sarcastic but serious kind of man. He often says jokes during his sermons. I love to laugh. We know what’s serious as well. The crackerjack box was him being sarcastic! I’m sure the ring was nice and represented his love for Loretta. My hope and prayers are for their happy and prosperous marriage. Congrats to them both!

I do not care what anyone says. She wasted all those years waiting for him. Now that he is 72 and old as heck, he decides to "get engaged." Let's see if "engaged" becomes married and even if they marry, she still wasted her time. According to this video she is in her late 50s which means she was in her 30s when she became his "long time partner." Ridiculous and ungodly. If she remained "loyal to Bishop and city of refuge church for more than two decades" ain't no way on Earth some hanky panky wasn't going on. Nah! I stand to be corrected, but this was ungodly.

I love Bishop preaching style and his unique verbal wording, and the sermons are right on time especially during these times of times. So, I am very happy God has blessed him with Ms Loretta. I seen a lot of negative post but it did not effect my congratulations to the bishop because apparently some do not know the Word of God which declares, He who findeth a wife, findeth a good thing. I've seen no where in the Word where it declares, potential wives after 6 months of not being asked to be married move on. But, the Word do declares, wait on the Lord. She waited and God blessed her. If two individuals are walking in the admonition of the Lord and are not double minded , it doesn't take 20 years to know and accept the will of God. Marriage is honorable and the (marriage) bed undefiled. If she truly loved him all those years, it was ABUSIVE and without Godly compassion for him to continually woo and pursue her knowing her carnal desires.. I don't think God would be pleased . If he didn't feel the same then Godly love, the type that he preaches about, would walk cause him to walk away and not string her along. He chose to stay in her life in a way that was disrespectful of her emotions and maybe caused her to error in her Godly convictions. With that level of disrespect I don't think Jones is now able to manufacture the type of the love she needs. I'm so sad for her. If this was her unsaved mate that she was willing to hold on to until God saved him and she continued to pray and stand in gap for the that would be a different thing.

💀💀💀 everyone who went to his church knows the truth about it all baby. I basically grew up in his church. All the women thought they were his wife. He made this woman wait soooooooooo long. She always had her dog in the church and we ate her food at the church and my mom had gotten food poisoning from a salad. Congrats though. Hope it lasts for as long as it can.

Ok I think it’s so unfair for a woman of God to love and admire and have high hopes to become someone’s bride, I was at greater bethany when Bishop McMurray went to be with the Lord and when Bishop Noel Jones took over, it seemed like women adored and worshiped him, so I feel sorry for sis. Loretta, she probably suffered years wanting the affection of a husband but knowing the danger of violating Gods word. For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in water for the removal of sins and filled with the Holy Ghost. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:6-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed.
One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us.
The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38.
The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction.
Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.
Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH OR OBEDIENCE TO GOD. One is letting you know that there are no Works we could have done to make Christ want to die on the cross for us. Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The other is about believing and being obedient to God because you believe. Faith without WORKS OR OBEYING GOD IS DEAD. James 2:14-26.
Noah believed and then OBEYED OR WENT TO WORK BUILDING THE ARK.
Now that Christ already paid the full price for our salvation we have to attain it by obeying his way to receive it, Acts 2:38! There is no sinner's prayer. Nowhere in the bible in this church age does it state to accept the Lord Jesus as your savior and you are saved. Mark 16:16, he that believes and is baptized shall be saved.
