I don't always post a comment, but I do always watch your videos, they're great. This one was really fun, I loved the views of the ponds, I really liked the take offs and landings, the steep climb outs, what a blast. Thanks for posting and I hope you had a nice dinner date with your parents.
Hey, wondered where you went!!!! Lookin' good up there! I got concerned when you were mixing up with the grass hoppers. Thought you might suck some up in the carb! That being said, roasted hopper is not bad at all!😂 Take care!😎👍
Hey Matt. You have the best videos on UA-cam. I was on vacation in New Brunswick and dropped by your airport, hoping to catch you there. But lady luck was not with me on Saturday. Anyhow keep up the great work!! John
I heard that we just missed each other. Violet and I went to a fly-in breakfast in Havelock. Next time you're here, let me know in advance and I'll do my best to be around. :-)
you are so amazing matt! i'm about to do my first tandem skydive! you don't even know! I have had dreams of terror skydiving! I got my skydive booked this saturday! I love you buddy! I know this is gonna be amazing as helli
The rock circles in the 12 minute field were unique. I haven't seen that in the others. Is that where they just randomly started pilings the rocks from the field? Plant a flag in the middle of one of them 😄
It's a BMX helmet from Walmart with a disassembled David Clark H10-13.4 headset bolted to it. I use an oversized mic muff and leather pouch from Oregon Aero to help block the engine and wind noise.
Do you mean the approach or a takeoff? I was very close on the approach but not so close as to make me nervous. I had plenty of room on the take off though. No sweat there at all.
@@DanielHunterUSA Very cool! I just checked out a few of your videos. You should definitely record some audio! 🙂 Do you ever do aerobatics in it? They are capable of that, right?
@@mmatt the phantom is capable of aerobatic but I don’t think I have the courage to do it lol ,I’m from Brasil live here in Indiana for 24 years so my videos are most in Portuguese lol .I haven’t flown in 7 years so I’m still braking the ice .
It's Dacron. I've had it off to inspect the inside of the wing before so I had to put it back on. It's not terribly difficult. It just slides on and off like a big sock.
@@mmatt ok thanks,I have a challenger I would like to do in the next couple of years,,,do you know where they are from???I contacted a company in Quebec and they gave me a good price but they looked weird

@mmatt I was wondering if you could call out your current height once in a while. Would be cool to know the actual height of what we are seeing. I often wonder, is he at a thousand feet?? Or 500.

I've only ever run into 1 person in 10 years of doing this who asked me not to come back. All the others have had no problem with it whatsoever. :)
Hey Matt, greetings from Australia. What tyres are you using on the Beaver? I'm trying to find 15.00x6.00x6 non aviation tyres for my ultralight. Been watching your vids for a couple of years now - awesome fun!!!!!
My nosewheel is just a wheelbarrow tire and the mains are automotive trailer tires. I'm not sure what size they are off-hand but they work just fine for this application.
@@mmatt Thank you for letting me know. Could you give me the brand on the tyre and the size and even a possible supplier if possible? Many thanks in advance.
That’s how I found your channel. I was looking at 701 videos and your channel popped up. You had just gotten the 701. Oh well. I enjoy your channel. Keep the Beaver videos coming. 😎
lol. Read the previous comments. Leave the channel due to lack of 701 content on an “almost exclusively” UL driven content? Plenty of Zenith content to be found elsewhere. Enjoy.

@@bgardam9347 All I can tell you so far is that there are nearly 100 hours on the engine with no trouble whatsoever. Fuel consumption is right around 4.5 gph and it consumes barely any oil at all. I think this is my favorite of your videos. A lot of variety highlighting what ultralights do best..off-airport, short field ops.
