Love this game, and for the PS2, it really punches above it's weight on a technical level with great physics, graphical effects, body dismemberment, and online multiplayer. Very often overlooked gem of an FPS in the tail end of the PS2 lifecycle.
I loved it since I discovered it like 10 years ago. Amazing game considering PS2 limitations. Shame it didn't came out for OG Xbox, because the frame drops are sometimes very painful here. Well, one can always emulate it and enjoy it that way. I do, it's pretty fun to play on Retroid Pocket 4.
Gunplay in this game is satisfying. i love how caliber like 45 acp, 7.62,12 gauge can blow limbs (just like irl lol)while in some other games which commonly a round like 50 cal only can blow people limbs off if that game have gore fx.
