- F23 and E23 are perched together on the inner limb and share some special memories. If this is F23's first eaglet she has raised, then these memories are twice as special for her to share with E23. And E23 has perched on the U branch before with Dad - a precious time they shared. It won't be long before E23 gets ready to depart on its journey so we have to cherish these special times. Enjoy some beautiful closeups of F23 on the attic and then E23 solo on the attic. Thank you for watching!

F23 has done an amazing job with her first baby! Look how beautiful and healthy E23 is! This is a blessed little family. M15 has been healed from a broken heart, and is a very happy dad. I love how E23 is loving on his mom.❤

I’ve always loved F23 from the very beginning when she was first seen with M15. None of the others could hold a candle to her. We all sat back and watched M15 guide her through stick gathering and nest building process. She learned fast with M15 doing the teaching. She showed us what a patient, loving mother can do. Both M15 & F23 have done a fantastic job with E23. How amazing that big girl has become and yes I’m thinking about size. Wow, E23 is bigger than Mom? Am I imagining that, Lady Hawk? I know it’s been a calm, and wonderful season. I loved every second with all of you.
It can’t end yet. I haven’t had enough of E23. ❤️🦅🦅🦅❤️

F23 has been doing a great job raising E23. Especially since E23 is her first kid.

I'm afraid to watch it! It's my first season watching Eagles' nests, but if eaglets are anything like falcon juvies, Mom F23 would do well to just drop off prey for E and fly the heck away ASAP--lol. Glad to see Mom and E sharing some quiet moments together after E displayed her fierce Warrior Princess side as she prepares for life on her own. (Pretty sure E is female, but I'm not placing bets!)

Thank you Lady Hawk for this super and awesome video of an awesome mom and her fierce and adorable daughter LadyF23 and E23.❤️🥰🦅🦅. I always thought that E23 looked so much like dad Magnificent15 but now I’m not so sure cause it seems that E23 definitely has that almost fierce looking face like mom does so that is where she gets her fighting personality. From her mom LadyF23.👍🏻😁🥰🦅🦅. Then also, with E23 loving to either be near or with each parent and enjoys spending time with them too, that to me is where E23 has her dad’s personality in where she’s loving and enjoys being with her parents. I’m truly hoping that dad doesn’t get kinda down when his big girl eventually leaves the nest to go live her life but I’m sure she’ll be soaring around to say hello to her mom and dad many times. Lady Hawk, what is your opinion… is E23 male or female? If you don’t want to or can’t answer I understand. For the longest time I thought male, but in the last 30-60 days I have changed my opinion. She has gotten so much food, but I have been watching her grow even wider than F23! Also the years I have been following this nest, I‘ve seen and heard about females having longer flatter heads. To me E23’s head is longer and flatter. What do you think?

Could be wrong but I really think E23 is a female. I usually hesitate to state gender opinion but E23 has a high pitched strong Sqwee, where as I've noticed several verified male Eaglets have a lower pitched raspy sqwee. Also the way that E23 ferociously defended the nest last week showing very strong territorial instincts like female Eagles do. Can't really tell by size because mom isn't a very large female, although 23 appears as large as mom. But, still could be a male as well.

@@susanmorris5520 I don't think so. If they did, when their eagles become adults, they would visit the nest. Most sub adults get chased away. If they had a memory, they would be welcomed.
Lady Hawk, Is E full grown in size at this point (I don’t mean coloring of course)?
Mama & Mini💕The timing seems about right. Most estimates last year from May forward through the summer were at 5yo. That would usually mean that her 1st plans for a clutch would have been in the fall of '23. Lovely shots of them from a few days ago when they were "at peace" with each other. LOL!🤣 Mom looks like she's beginning her molting season... still she's the beautiful Maybelline. You did good (still are) sweetheart!🤗😍 Thx LadyHawk💖
