You've made great progress! I tell people who consider hiking the AT that starting in the south as a NOBO will prepare you for the really tough mountains up north. I'm not a fan of switchbacks. In fact, I despise them with every fiber of my being. They are still going uphill, still torturous, and take 3 times a long to get to the top. Just give me a path straight up the mountains! That should be an option for those who do have timelines to finish. Anywho, rant over. Can't wait to see a pic of you two on Katahdin!

Imagine people are hiking some of this in winter!!! I've drivin by the trail heads and there's cars there. They are probably hiking the other side but still. Awesome update, How much water did you drink going up thru that climb? Thanks for posting🌲✌
That’s so crazy! We were talking about that the other day, (there was a sign in the alpine zone that said no camping in winter unless there is 2 feet + of snow) lol like why on earth would you want to do that?
