So I did the math. I combined the current 100% world records for every 2D and 3D Mario game (except SMB Deluxe cuz I couldn't find it) into a playlist. Then I added up each of the WR times from each video into a calculator (I added them by minutes, so the times that were over an hour I just added 60 or 120 or whatever to the calculation) I can't remember the exact number of the calculation, but when I converted the minutes to days, it said it was 2.898997998989897979 (I can't remember the number but it was just a bunch of random decimals). So basically, if you're as skilled as all the 100% WR speedrunners out there, it'll probably take you around *just under 3 days* to 100% every 2D and 3D Mario game. Also if you're wondering: the shortest game is Super Mario Land (12 mins) and the longest is Super Mario Galaxy (11 hours)

Super Mario Bros 2 Japan is actually one of my favorite 2d marios. 😂😂 I grew up with the original smb 1 and played it to the point it was too easy, so when I found out about Super Mario Bros 2 Japan on the virtual console it was an amazing gift and like a more challenging Super Mario Bros 1 but with a greater and more fun difficulty.
Actually, Super Mario All Stars+Super Mario World changed the sprites of Luigi, it has 1 extra save slot, pressing select no longer has options to save the game, & it cuts straight to the player select. There are also a few changes to the UI of All Stars itself.

And i mean....the fact that this is over an hour in length makes me very worried going into this.... I pray that nathaniel's mental health will be ok at the end of this. And i gotta say this was one of most EPIC showdowns of all time. A true anime battle. After thoughts. (SPOILERS) Surprisingly nathaniel's mental health and sanity stayed pretty normal throughout the entire marathon! Especially when you compare how they were for both the 3D mario and mario kart marathons. And WE DID IT PEOPLE!!!! FOR ONCE ONE OF THESE MARATHONS WAS POSSIBLE!!!! Super Mario Bros 2 Japan is actually one of my favorite 2d marios. 😂😂 I grew up with the original smb 1 and played it to the point it was too easy, so when I found out about Super Mario Bros 2 Japan on the virtual console it was an amazing gift and like a more challenging Super Mario Bros 1 but with a greater and more fun difficulty.

Actually, Super Mario All Stars+Super Mario World changed the sprites of Luigi, it has 1 extra save slot, pressing select no longer has options to save the game, & it cuts straight to the player select. There are also a few changes to the UI of All Stars itself.

Nintendo truly is addicted to its fans suffering to The Lost Levels to the point where there are like A MILLION VERSIONS OF THE GAME
Mad respect for the commitment. I usually get bored after playing the same game for 2 hours.
First we 100% every 3D mario in a week.
Then we 100% every mario kart in a week.
And now....the biggest one.....every 2D mario 100% in 2 weeks.
And i mean....the fact that this is over an hour in length makes me very worried going into this....
I pray that nathaniel's mental health will be ok at the end of this.
And i gotta say this was one of most EPIC showdowns of all time.
