My 35+ yr marriage ended in divorce, not of my choosing. We both had our faults and both are guilty of mistakes. Nothing I felt was severe enough for divorce other than growing away from one another. Our children were grown and out of the nest, so that was good. At this stage in my life I have no desire to remarry or start a new. I choose to be alone.
Sorry about the divorce. You can still believe in marriage whether you chose to stay single or remarry. Preaching the importance of marriage can still spark a light in you. Don't give up
Wonderful to have such sound doctrine; such a blessing!!! Marriage needs to be encouraged, valued and held in higher regard in general and especially in our Church. May we be examples to others in our fidelity to our spouses and marriages!
My first marriage, a temple marriage, didn't last, but we had four amazing kids from our union. I continued and continue to be an active member of the church, my ex, did not, but we decided our children were the most important thing and decided that if either of us married again, we came as a package deal. I did remarry 6 years later, my ex never remarried. My husband of 35 years and my ex learned to be great friends and we three raised some pretty amazing kids. When my ex passed away 7 years ago, my husband, his friend, spoke at his memorial. Marriage don't always work out, especially if the children or the wife are being abused in anyway. I'm just so grateful, I was blessed with two really awesome men that helped raise the children we brought into this world.
May God have mercy on her for her selfishness! May he have mercy on her for all the suffering of our kids. May he forgive her and May she recieve mercy and grace. Its what I would want for me if I threw it all away.
I feel a greater love for my kitten than I ever have for a woman. I've always felt physical attraction towards women but never emotional. Maybe I'm a psychopath.
@@wisdomfrombeyondtheveil Although I've never felt any desire to harm anyone. People to me just "are" , something to be walked around. I was starting to wonder if I were a robot, but then I had a dog die and I felt miserable for 2 years.

It’s good you recognize this about yourself. Hopefully you find the help you need.
@@LaraJubber Thank you for caring, but I don't really think it's something in need of "help". It's just another way of being.
