    Were there meals included with your surgery during recovery? Thank you for sharing your experience! I had a few friends that went to Turkey for their rhinoplasty revision and they had their initial rhinoplasty in the US too! You are very spot on about the post-op surgery depression. It’s so real!! I watched my friend go thru an emotional rollercoaster after surgery. She hated her nose for 3 months. one day she would love it and the next she hated her nose. Your nose literally changes everyday. Now she almost at her 1 yr mark and she love her new nose. This is something I wish ppl talk more about.. is the emotional and mental side after surgery. It’s not always glamorous lol

      No meals included during recovery except for the one I had in the hospital (usually you have to spend 1 night in the hospital). I know, I’ve seen too many people online go through that depression, so I thought I’d make a point about it.

    What a beautiful result. I love your nose because it looks incredibly natural and in proportion to your other features.

      A lot of people do it on their own! You can even join one of the Facebook groups and see if anyone is going the same time as you and they can be your buddy.

    Thanks for sharing your experience! Did you travel alone and how was the immediate post op recovery?

    • @josephmfares
      @josephmfares  2 роки тому +3

      I did travel there and back alone, but I ended up meeting my parents in Istanbul (they wanted an excuse for a vacation lol).
      My immediate post op recovery was great - no pain and the staff in the hospital was really nice!

    Woahhh!! You look great but so different. Before you look great. After you look great. I’m guessing the tip will drop down as the year passes, that’s what happened to my brother!

    I just had my nose done the 7th in Turkey and wow the post surgical depression yesterday was awful. I’d never get another elective surgery again bc of that.
    Thanks for sharing your experience

      @@josephmfares It definitely shocked and shook me but it also served a purpose i think - i realized how lonely I am and how i was isolating. I've been going to church since I returned (spirituality is important for me) and made it a point to spend time with friends.

    What a shame… Your real nose was perfect! It was super masculine and suited your face. Be careful and don’t get hooked on plastic surgeries, fillers, botox etc. You’re naturally handsome and don’t need those.
