You are beautiful on film, but even more beautiful in person, Marlene. I think both foundations looked, and held up great. Fourteen hours outside at the game, and your makeup still looked good. Love football! The ND looks beautiful on you. Wish they would look good on me too. lol. Yea! You got samples. Love that they do this. I didn't think the concealer was light weight. I thought it would be thick. Hmmmm. WOW!! The shiseido looks great! When you put a second pump it looks flawless. I tried it today and the shade looks kinda grey on me lol. Perfect match for you. I guess I've used such thick concealers in the past (IT Cosmetics for one) that most others seem lightweight to me. I've used it everyday since I got it and love the way it holds up without giving me the crepey eyes! Not a cute look on me! Oh no! it looked grey? Maybe Bronze or Sandstone? I'm thinking about getting one of those two to add a bit of depth to Citrine. I believe it has an olive tone to it which may be why it looked grey. I won a Lactic acid treatment (sorry Cody not being terribly specific) gonna post a picture on instagram. Oh my lord, my skins not rough or anything. But its smoother than i have ever known .This is unbelievable for me, yeah dark spots bye bye. Not dreadfull dark areas, on my drivers side only. Can't believe it. Montarbo Skincare. Have to say I never tried a lactic acid of any kind before, my first experience. I am so over the flipping moon. I might have to save up and buy another. But customs charged me as I'm in UK. Oh my, the Shiseido foundation looks lovely, also not minding the Natasha Denona one too. 14 hrs is really good honestly for check-in and a bit of wear off if you noticed that? For me if a Foundation holds at least 6 hrs I am happy with that, it looked gorgeous on your Marlene, thanks for sharing both have a good weekend!! Hi Lori! How are you, my lovely friend? Thank you so much! I really do love them both!I agree about that 6 hours is enough. I usually don't wear mine for longer than 8. I called Beautylish, and they sent pictures (via email) of all the shades so I could pick what I wanted, but I believe they did it this way because the KA foundation hadn't arrived. I believe that if they have the foundation on hand, they'll do a color match using a different foundation (as long as they carry the foundation you want to match). Not sure if this makes sense. Go on their website and see the foundations they carry, if you have one, have the shade on hand when you call them. With you on the phone, they'll tell you what compares. They'll send the shade that matches plus others close to that shade. Love you! xoxo Marlene

What.... ?..... I can't go out and buy all of these foundations ...... Well ... I do think that I need to give the Shiseido a try ..... you looked awesome in it ..... interesting that even at the end of the night the brushed side of your face still looked shinier than the sponge side ... Love your hair pulled back on the one side .... I will be trying that style today --- for sure -- Hehehee ..... I am not going to put holes in my ears thou .... I will just let that be your thing .... LOL .... The earrings are sooo pretty ... one would make a nice necklace ...... I picked up a sample of Dior the shiny one and of course it ended up shinier than what I like however it did wear well .... I may pick up the matte one and see how it wears on me ..... Hahahahaha, nope, you can't go buy all these foundations unless you just love having three drawers filled and wonder each day which to wear. LOL, you're too funny! I so look forward to your comments. They always put a smile on my face! Yes, it does look luminous even at the end of the day. I've just been using a sponge with it. Send me a picture when you put your hair in a ponytail... or get a fake one like I did :-) Holes in my ears... it's a Cuban thing to get girls' ears pierced while still in the hospital. I had my daughter's pierced when she was two days old... UGh! what was I thinking? Thank goodness she loves having pierced ears. I tried both Diors unfortunately neither worked for me. Let me know if I need to try them again. Ok, last thing... when I first started, I'd do one video per foundation review; I then thought it would be better to do 2 or 3 in one video and leave time stamps, so viewers that were only interested in one of the foundations were only watching 8-10 minutes. Any foundation and concealer recommendations for dry skin and under eyes?
Hi Carol! Thank you so much for visiting! For dry skin, I'd stay away from any matte foundation. Instead, go with a luminous or natural finish which tend to be more hydrating. I don't know if you prefer sheer, medium, or full coverage, so my best advice is once you know the coverage that you prefer, get samples of different foundation and try them out for a few days. Sephora, some department stores (like Macy's), and Beautylish will give you samples to try and will last 3-5 which really gives you a good idea whether you like the foundation or not. As far as concealers are concerned, I prefer lightweight concealers and always wear a good undereye cream. You can even mix some eye cream with the concealer (I believe Sephora will give you samples). My favorites are the Shiseido, Too Faced, and Giorgio Armani. I don't know if I've been any help. Off the top of my head, I'd go with Anastasia's new foundation if you like medium coverage. Hope you're having a great evening! xoxo Marlene

I ABSOLUTELY hate how Luxury brands only have like 10-24 shades only.It certainly tells Me alot about the Brand.And I will not buy a luxury foundation unless it has at least 30 shades.at least.I will not pad the pockets of rich people that does not care about inclusivity!They sell and cater to pretty much white people and im white but it dont matter.I Love Everyone and everyone should have a shade pr one super damn close.lol
Yep, I totally agree! I'm not certain why they do this, but it may have to do with the company's country of origination. I used Art Deco foundation a while back (a German company), and the shades leaned towards light with no deep dark shades. I thought it could be due to Germany's population. I think the same may hold true for Natasha Denona which is an Italian brand. Perhaps as they become more popular in the US, the shades will be expanded.
