Solar Inter-Row Spacing

- In this video, we have tried to show a simple and very approximate method of determining the inter-row spacing or Spacing between rows of the solar panels.
The actual method has a lot of trigonometry and complex mathematical calculations.
For the sake of field application and ease of calculations, we have made some broad approximations, reduced the number of variables, and later compensated for the Approximations.
In the method shown, It is possible to compute the row spacing by knowing only the latitude of the location.
This method is however approximate and applicable to locations in the northern hemisphere only.
It is very helpful to have this drawn out so clearly. I know nothing of trigonometry, but I’m learning.
Wow, this item has a quality that makes you want to look closer. There's something about it that pulls you in. It's not just a simple product; it's well - made.
Really helpful concept. Explained beautifully.
very clear & useful approach
Thanks for the video. This only applies on flat surface such as flat field rather than a tilted roof. It also assumes that the tilt of the solar array is the latitude of the location.
Great video. Thank you for sharing
Excellent explanation sir..
Thank you for such a nice video
Love from Pakistan
great explanation
i seen your videos ,clearly explained thanks for videos . i requried solar structural and wind load calculation for different installation are ( Flat roof And Sheet mounting )
my short leg height is 2.33m what should be height of long leg at distance of 4.18m distance so together tilt angle of 18degree tilt angle
jayesh sinha
what is the space b/n each Pv panel
Well knowledge give me
Thank you so much , I tried to use 50 as a latitude value , but the value was high , it was above 6 meters.. I don't know, I see it too much ..
What do you think?
Thank you so much
is this for when the panels are facing the south direction?
Yes
Can you give us the reference book or research
Please can you explain more what is the angle(23.45 degree) you've taken?
Angle of tilt of 🌎 axis
What if the surface is incline?
Fix the tilt of the panels with respect to the incline and work out .
Awesome
Thank you sir
The equation is valid only when the PV panel is facing the sun on Dec 22th.
On 22 dec (In northern hemisphere), the sun is at the lowest point in horizon casting longest shadow. On any other day the shadow length will be smaller . So it is safe to use this equation for any day in the year .
@@HinrenEngineering I agree Sir, but factor of security 1.2 involves azimuth angle data which could be variable depending of the orientation of the roof. Thank you for your video.
