  • The plaintiff used to be friends with the defendant. However, the plaintiff gave the defendant money for a few summer trips, but she hasn't paid it back, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff begged her to go on the trips even though she informed her she couldn't afford it. The plaintiff knew she wasn't going to pay her back, so she shouldn't have paid for the trips if she wanted the defendant to come.

It it's a loan then it's supposed to be paid back. If it wasn't made clear that it was a loan then that's the fault of the plaintiff for not stating that. I wouldn't loan someone hundreds of dollars and take the loss because they assumed that it was a gift. I typically give away lower amounts to homeless people from time to time.

I have never asked a friend to loan me a thing, and I never will. As for the plaintiff asking to borrow the defendant’s daughter’s prom dress, I’m not cool with that. Even if she DID wear your skirt, your skirt is just a skirt, whereas a prom dress is something special, so I can understand why she wouldn’t want to loan it. I appreciate the defendant bringing her skirt back on a hanger and not stuffed and wrinkled in a bag. She seems like a good friend. She has a problem with her leg and if she's having surgery she can't work. I think that if someone tells you that they can't afford it, don't press the issue of them going on an expensive trip with you. I never understand how people expect payments from someone who has no money. I would not have taken her on the trip because it's obvious that she can't afford it. The plaintiff seems like she has a lot more than the defendant, and she should've taken someone else. Oh! That's right...she couldn't because they weren't messing with her. I also agree that you should try and pay something if you owe someone. At least $20 here and there shows good faith. It's not good business if you don't. Now you can never borrow money if you ever need to. I say your word is your bond...so just try your best to honor your word.

They pay money to "fix" the algorithm to boost their presence on social media. Its not just a couple of bucks. Its 1000s of dollars. To even get up to be making money that can support themselves, they will need MILLIONS of subscribers.
Losing weight is not a special corner of the internet that has been untapped. There are countless fitness gurus on the internet. They have books to buy, zoom meetings, social media lives. And these people have to be remotely modelesque and crazy fit. This girl can barely walk. Like broooo be seriousss. Youre so out of touch. lol

I agree with everything else that was said but for the judge to assume she’s able bodied by appearance is wrong. That’s equivalent to seeing a person who can walk with a handicap placard and assuming they’re not handicapped. She has no clue what that girls health issues are. I have my assumptions on her health issues but not for me to say nor for the judge to assume. She needs to deal in fact. Period.
