I'm kinda surprised that they were allowed to show this much violence and gore at a lego convention. Like, I don't mind it, but I just kinda figured convention owners would have been really uptight and crazy about it.
That's a really nice build with a great story, both the houses on top and the research station look fantastic.

This has nothing to do with Stranger Things. Why do people keep drawing parallels between this and that show? I don’t get it. It’s based on the Alien franchise. Nothing to do with ST people.
Hidden_X because is an underground laboratory with Kids going around on Halloween. The Alien are cool and it just seems like a awesome crossover.
There was one episode like the Moc when aliens in the laboratory attacked people and ate them

No the guy said it's aliens. People see a underground laboratory and immediately think stranger things without looking at the xenomorph aliens. Stranger things took inspiration from alien but that's it.
I fully agree Stranger Things is great, however it's overhyped. Its nothing to write home about. I've seen better and I've seen worse than stranger things. I like stranger things, but nothing can send shivers more than anything from the aliens universe.

Underground hidden government lab with a monster and its homebase
Set during Halloween with kids
The only thing signifying it's Alien roots is the design of the monster
The underground lab reminds me of the one in cabin in the woods
I am perfectly familiar with the Alien movie franchise and this MOC still does remind me of stranger things. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't surprise me if the creator took inspiration from stranger things, considering that the MOC is set on earth, and the events are happening in a secret lab unbeknownst to the rest of the town.
