Our very first test of the Kampa Geyser portable hot water system. Wondering if it is really any good? Why not take it to our fave campsite for a field test👍
So what is involved in a hot water solution for camping? It all sounds easy enough, right? Portable hot water... But what do you need to think about? What is needed to make it work? Hopefully, this will help give you a little bit of enlightenment.

Hello, is the hose plug a standard garden quick disconnect or its proprietary so it wont be possible to change it?

It's not a quick garden hose fitting. Looks almost like a gas fitting, or maybe from the irrigation section in store you may find a similar thing

What's it like for battery consumption

Can't speak to the battery consumption but it is only used for a couple of minutes per day. Heating is from the gas, so just a spark and the small water pump 🤔
