Hell Followed With Us is amazing, never had a book elicit the level of anger towards a group/organisation as quickly as it did in the first chapter. Disciples of the Soil looks stunning, and I recently picked up The Book Thief as well. Looks like I have a Tag to record 🤣
Song of Achilles is so beautiful. Bawled my eyes out (top experience, honestly). I Who Have Never Known Men was one of my favourite books this year so far. I read it months ago and still think about it pretty much every day. “I don’t think I know enough about my books to know how good they’ll be.” - Hard relate 😅 Thanks for the tag, Elmo! I’m so slow to get around to these videos but I promise there’s a list!
Hi Aisling! Amazing, certainly a selling point re: Song of Achilles 😂 Oooo, a favourite? The premise is certainly intriguing, and I hope to get to it soon. No rush or obligation at all! I have a bit of a backlog of tags according to my Notion spreadsheet 😅 I'll be there to watch if and when you make it
On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous is delightful. Way back when I made the first part of a video going through all the annotations I made in the book, but I never made the second part. The writing is beautiful and the concept is so heartbreaking - could totally have been in the concept section of this tag for me. Love the idea of a podcast from you :D that would be so fun!! I found the Skulduggery series by Derek Landy to be very funny. It's one of those series that grows with its audience, like Harry Potter got darker as the characters got older, but even though the first books are definitely aimed at kids I was constantly giggling! Derek is a great guy as well, met him in a book signing in York one time :D Might join you on this tag after I get the one you tagged me in done. I've been working on a vlog that's gonna come out first but these will deffo be on the list for after. Always a joy seeing your videos :D
Hi Isobel 👋 I remember watching your annotation video! Yes, certainly an interesting concept, and possibly emotionally weight-y too. >:) I did a module on podcasts at Uni, it's something I've wanted to try for a while, perhaps next year will be time! I've heard good things about the Skulduggery series; I might have to library loan it 👀What a special experience to have met the author! No rush or obligation for these tags, I just thought I'd give you the opportunity should you want to do them (plus I'm interested in what your answers would be 👀). Can't wait for the vlog, I do love your videos
Yay! I need to reread Fahrenheit 451. African Psycho sounds super interesting! I also have a morbid curiosity 👀 but I am usually too scared to read about them due to the emotional weight 😂 This was a super fun video!
>:) I will always encourage any reading of Fahrenheit 451. Yes, I'm not too sure what to expect from African Psycho other than the synopsis given, certainly an interesting concept. That's totally valid. I often take big breaks when I'm reading emotionally heavy things as they can be a lot to process. Thank you for the tag
Not the ceramics! 😂😂😂 So many interesting books. So many depressing books! But yeah they are the interesting ones. Don’t know why that is. Maybe it is the comfort, I hear that sometimes. Feels good to have a reason to feel like you do. So that’s fun! 😊 What my bones know sounds good, I’ve been eyeing that as well. Hope your nose clears up ^^ This tag is so fun, I could talk about all the books I wanna read for days haha anticipation is half the fun
Haha, the way my heart DROPPED. Oh yeah, the morbid interest lends itself to depressing reads 😅 I think there's probably a catharsis in reading sad books, perhaps that's why I'm drawn to them 🤔 Dr Amy recently read What My Bones Know so I'm reassured it'll be a good, if emotional, read. It really is! I get to read so many books that past me hand-picked! A joy! Hope you're having a great day! :)
ELMOOOOOO! i love this video and the books are very pretty. I have never read a ray bradbury book - maybe you could rec one for me? Fantastic video, Keep up the amazing work friend!
NOAHHH!!! Thank you 🤗 As for Bradbury recs - are you a short story fan? His collections 'Dark Carnival' and 'Killer, Come Back to Me' (I've only read the latter) both have short horror/thriller fiction stories I think you'd like. Thanks for watching! I hope you're having a great day! :)

Sometimes hearing how many books are on your TBR stresses me out 😅 (even though I'm not much better) 😂😂
@@megan4056 it stressed me out too 😅 many plans to get reading them though!
