I would recommend it, though may be worth checking trigger warnings if you're vulnerable. I found it such a great read, and very relatable given my experience in the 2020 pandemic. It touches on the idea that art is what humans are for, we live to create and appreciate.
@@jlmo3027 ah, thank you JLMO, good to have you here :) I've been eyeing all three of those titles! I've been recommended a few books by Matt Haig, Midnight Library is one of my hopeful reads for next year. Thank you for your comment ❤️
Oh yeah, really intriguing but a little... I'm not sure how to put it, overdone? It could be that I've taken too many breaks when reading it though 🤔 Thank you! Hope your reading is going well! ❤
Well I’ll spoil the fun if I tell you my favorites won’t I? I have end of year videos planned too you know! 😂 I did read The Yellow Wallpaper though, on audio. Yes. Loved that. Station Eleven has been on my radar for too long, it’ll need to go on my list for 2025. I was planning to have that list be 25 books but I’m not sure how that will go…. so many books! I hope you’re busy with fun things and taking care of yourself through it all! 😊 Thanks for the news about what month it is though, needed that ^^
That's so valid and I am so looking froward to it 👀. Yes! Yellow wallpaper is such a fun lil story. Plus, Station Eleven May soon be required channel reading, depending how the reread goes 👀 I have maybe three days off work this month, so I'm really holding out for the new year when it comes to resting and chilling. Haha, honestly this video took me so long to edit, that my 'it's this month' statement became immediately outdated. Can confirm it is December now 😅
@ Three days off in a month doesn’t sound very sustainable, make sure you have some time afterwards to recharge. I know you’re an adult… still have to say it… I always get confused. At the end of November I’m convinced there’s about two months until Christmas. That just makes more sense. So the update was good ^^ thanks for confirming!
I've had a good reading year. Read more than I have since I left school, and most the books were 4 or 5 stars. Top 3 of the year (definitely got a recency bias) are: Brave New World - Aldous Huxley Rosemary's Baby - Ira Levin Watchmen - Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons
@@bananalandblu1430 im glad to hear your reading has gone well this year! Brave New World was such an interesting book. I've had Watchmen on my reading list for a while, and heard good things! Thank you for your comment ♥️
my main takeaway from this video is that I need to read station eleven… that may need to go into my TBR

Glad I found your channel! I look forward to watching more. My top three this year were Piranesi, The Midnight Library, and Demon Copperhead.

A book as a character?! That is an interesting premise, sadly doesn’t sound like it’s done in the best way. Good luck with your abandoned books! 😊
