Chaparral brings back good memories. My parents had one, back in the early '80s. It was a great boat. I also had a Chaparral snowmobile, back in the late'70s. They were decent sleds.
I appreciate all your boating videos and knowledge you share. Looking to step up from my current 03 Sea Ray 182. Here’s my top 3 picks in order. (1)Regal LS 2, (2)Sea Ray SPX210, (3)Chaparral 23 SSI. Looking to be around 5000lbs with boat and trailer. I trailer the boat all over MN lakes with a 1/2 ton truck. What’s your thought on these choices?
I will keep the official weight in mind for sure. Now, just need to convince the wife there is other great boats besides Sea Ray. Ha. Thanks again for the input. Keep up the good videos.
They are mid-tier but only made for a few years when Bennington tried to get into the fiberglass sterndrive market before realizing that focus on the growing pontoon/tritoon segment was a better use of resources
Iam looking at a 2012 Formula 270br for 55k. I really like it, but i like cobalt too. I am curious why the price is so low compared to the NADA. How much stock do you put in that service?
I’d just like to take a moment to thank you for putting out valuable content and wish you and yours a merry Christmas.
Keep up the good work!
We have our new Chaparral 21 SSI coming in a couple of months. Can't wait.
What do you think of Fourwinns?

Glad you put this out, I’m in the market to downsize to a bow rider after 5 big sea rays it’s nice to have options.
Still rocking my Cobalt 240, looks lime it's 3yrsbold instead of 13 yes old. Still get compliments all the time on her 😆
You forgot the Mooba 😮
That's a wake boat, I consider them in a different catagory
Cobalt 252 w/502 Mercruiser Captain Exhaust 470 Hp at prop. Fit/finish top notch. SeaRay 25 454 excellent. Formula? no experience. Thx
My Bayliner bias was hoping to see a VR6 up there… but then again, you said “Top 5” ain’t no way the VR6 gonna compete with a Cobalt

Have you watched Best and Worst Bow Riders?
Hi! I am looking at a 2008 Azure 279, with a cabin. What do you think about the Azure brand?
They are mid-tier but only made for a few years when Bennington tried to get into the fiberglass sterndrive market before realizing that focus on the growing pontoon/tritoon segment was a better use of resources
Do you know what boats are available in Europe (We love and drive a Lot of SeaRay and Regal) and make an european top 5? Maybe Jeanneau or others ?
What do you think about Monterey boats?
Check out the Best and Worst Bow Rider video
What about mastercrafts?
They are inboard wake boats, not in this conversation.

That price is low, which makes me wonder what is wrong with it.
