Great review. Although I disagree on the head sculpt. I think if I took this sculpt around non-collectors and asked them what actor it was supposed to be, 7 maybe 8/10 would immediately say RDJ. Sometimes we're a little too deep in the woods when it comes to likenesses vs perception.
@@trooper-jarhead1930 i believe its missing something, its more like 7,5 than 8 of 10. Yes you cann its RDJ, but more a paralel universe RDJ in his 30s. It´s not bad but not great either. Subjective opinion.
I never thought in a million years that anyone would be iffy on this sculpt. When I saw the prototype, I would have paid just to get the sculpt lol. If I could choose one RDJ sculpt for a Hot Toys figure…this would be it, hands down. Next best is the Mark V suit up version and the Mark III 2.0
Finally Hot Toys nails a Tony Stark sculpt from Iron Man 1. Every previous attempt looked too old. I'm definitely updating my Mech Test 2.0 with this sculpt.
Jedha I just skimmed the video before going back to watch it all and I didn’t see you show off the Tony Stark sculpt on the Mech Test Tony body like I suggested previously. Was really hoping to see that in the review. Can you maybe post some pics on your socials pls. Aside from that, I’m keen to sit back and watch your review in full 😊
That's your standard "agitation-screw." Most companies add a single "agitation" feature to subtly drive the collects nuts. Have you ever met a SANE toy collector?... I rest my case.
Well not perfect, but it is beautiful. Are any of the other versions accurate to the brushed metal look of the suit in the film? This looks great, and so do the Mk3 ones with the shiny metallic red as opposed to the accurate satin, but I might go for a brushed look if that's a HT thing.
Superb review, long awaited. Wearing gloves for mark II? Looking freaking awesome with the other 2 chrome figures😮 mark VII black and gold chrome is my favourite

what ??? xD if your not know who this is than u simply dont know RDJ. The sculpts are amazing

jedah: "i domt really see RJD in this sculpt"...
STARING AT A LITERAL SHRUNK DOWN VERSION OF RJD 😂
Right?!? this ones definitely one of their best rdj headsculpts
@@studmuffin1419 No kidding! All his opinions and recommendations are now questionable. 😆

Bro one look any everyone knows it’s RDJ. You can comment that you don’t like the expression, skin tone, aging effect, whatever, but this is 10/10 RDJ
Man that looks incredible. Big fan of that headsculpt to be honest. When are you doing a collection tour?
so shiny we can see you reflected back at us. Can't wait to get this guy, I've been wanting a MK 2 forever.
Can’t wait to get this one to finally complete the first 7 armors.
Ah man that looks so good, I can’t wait til mine ships, great video.
Head sculpt is AMAZING.

Stunning looking figure. Can’t wait to get it in the collection
Excited for this one

@ cause the whole figure is chromed out and will be a major finger print magnet
I also want to update my Mech Test 2.0 with this sculpt!
Definitely looks awesome 🤩 and a finger print magnet 🧲 lol
Are the rockets on backwards again or is that the way it’s supposed to be?

Yeah, the TONY head sculpt looks off on the chrome suit, but great review , thanks for showing
Well doesn’t it come with stand that will secure it n not “fall over and break all over “?

Nice gloves!
Are those metal?
Great review can’t wait to get this

Great video. And a great figure.
It looks exactly like the MF’r
How many iterations of Iron Man you can produce ? Yes !
Why Hot Toys called it 2.0? IIRC this the 4th version of the Mark II that Hot Toys made since they put out Iron Man figures.
It's the 2.0 version of the DIECAST mk II.
I see you’ve gone to the dark side and got some gloves 🎉
The gloves - LMAO
not sure what's funny about the gloves but okay 😏😒🤣
It's funny because it's like someone is going to do surgery on a figure.
lol
I use to laugh at gloves but when I open the red and chrome version it was a finger print magnet, same for this version.
first
Its Johnny Depp. I liked the 1st movie, that's where my interest in Iron-Man begins and ends.
This could've been an 11/10 if they included a don cheadle open visor headsculpt
Maybe, but most people don’t buy it for Don Cheadle, and they don’t need an $50 markup.
Can’t wait to get this one to finally complete the first 7 armors.
