I don't buy the "life happens" BS. She had eight kids, raised none, chose drugs over eight kids. Ten years ago I went back to school full time and working part time. I had to quit school the last semester because my oldest started having health issues. That's a case of life happens. Neglecting eight kids is not.

As an adoptee out of the foster care system whose addict mother came and found me when I was 20 - Simone is doing the right thing! Most adoptees reunions end badly. My heart goes out to Simone so much. Well guess what I was an honour roll straight A student who became a teacher, then a nurse and I’m now a nursing professor.
