I live in Chicago and just dropped my daughter at school, today's the first day and I saw LOTS of illegals having their kids at the same school my daughter is attending. It wasn't like this last school year. Plus we live in a middle class neighborhood and we see them in almost every corner begging, my husband and I are moving out of Chicago to Iowa in December.
Wait until your school gets its performance scores back. I work in health care and I have noticed at my place of work the immigration population has risen tremendously. I have to use the interpreter for over 50% of patients seen by the medical provider daily. Let us not forget that most of the immigrant women are having children who will be U.S. citizens because they will be born on US soil. It is crazy. I had to take out student loans and pay taxes that support free meals and housing for these people. I am in no way racist but some of them look at me like I am crazy, lol. Underserving the children because we simply aren't equipped for this population boom. But White, bigger neighboring cities can refuse to accept migrant housing vouchers, utilizing vagrancy laws and city border policing leaving smaller Black neighborhoods overcrowded and vulnerable. I live in Chicago and just dropped my daughter at school, today's the first day and I saw LOTS of illegals having their kids at the same school my daughter is attending. It wasn't like this last school year. Plus we live in a middle class neighborhood and we see them in almost every corner begging, my husband and I are moving out of Chicago to Iowa in December.

I work in health care and I have noticed at my place of work the immigration population has risen tremendously. I have to use the interpreter for over 50% of patients seen by the medical provider daily. Let us not forget that most of the immigrant women are having children who will be U.S. citizens because they will be born on US soil. It is crazy. I had to take out student loans and pay taxes that support free meals and housing for these people. I am in no way racist but some of them look at me like I am crazy, lol. I am thinking about moving out of the country because I believe it will begin to get worse than it already is. Be blessed

Now so many migrants litter the streets,, intoxicated day laborers harassing local businesses, urinating and disposing of their trash anywhere, increased crimes of survival. When they set up pantries the lines are filled to the brim, lines around the corner, disrupting traffic, and racist with no respect for local residents..My elementary school has a capacity of 363, but now there are trailers lined up on the playground to accommodate these people, and that's one out of SIX elementary schools. Underserving the children because we simply aren't equipped for this population boom. But White, bigger neighboring cities can refuse to accept migrant housing vouchers, utilizing vagrancy laws and city border policing leaving smaller Black neighborhoods overcrowded and vulnerable. This isn't hyperbole this is happening in real-time..My lovely city is drowning...
