I think this pack would've been better with lizards, birds, guinea pigs, and customizable pets, like the hedgehog and fake thing are fine but, rats and hamsters come in different colors.

I was kinda upset because hedgehogs don't live in cages like that they are too big to fit in those tubes and they need bedding and stuff

they didn't even add in birds, lizards, or turtles to this pack. it's lacking so much. the items are just basically recolors. not worth it at all.

I know right? One thing I really wanted was some sort of bird. And it's not worth spending 10$ when most of us spent 40$ for cats and dogs in the first place. It's basically a DLC for DLC 😐

Vixella should give the kinda of loner child in the Not So Berry: Yellow series a little pet, like a hamster or hedgehog, so that it’s like the only little friend the child plays with is the little pet instead of its siblings. I know that it sounds a bit sad, but I think it will be pretty interesting for the story line.

I REFUSE to spend my money on something that should have been included in the expensive expansion pack I bought to begin with. They have the nerve to put in clothes, beds, toys, and dogs & cats stuff in general? A joke. EA keeps losing my interest more and more as the time goes by.

Universal_ Wisdom well.... if you get it on console you don't get cats and dogs until next year I believe there's only 1 expansion pack it's still fun though, no CC no mods...
Universal_ Wisdom The Sims on console is not that good. There’s barely any packs, sometimes the mouse (or whatever it’s called) will get stuck (Example: when picking a trait for sims that are aging up it’ll only show the options for the screen where you were playing) and there are no mods or cc. You’ll have to pay if you don’t want your sims to look bland. If you want to get the sims on console it’s your choice, I’m just suggesting you don’t.

What we have in this pack is the same pet reskinned with slightly different mesh. A rabbit i assume would require separate animations and a different cage model. But gotta cut down on resources and just make reskins. They did the same thing with Cats and dogs, with raccoons and foxes just being reskins respectively, with different voices. (raccoons have small "hands", not catlike paws)....Sorry, it became a rant lol.

The love seat can actually merge in to create an l-shaped couch. All you have to do is place a love seat on the floor facing you and place another one facing the left. Leave the direction that they're both in and connect the loveseat facing the left to the flat side on the right from the other love seat facing you. There you go!
I don't think people should get it because I don't want EA to pick up the habit of giving us half of a DLC,then the rest of it for more money.They didn't even add turtles.What are they doing?

I feel like EA was hounded down to release Cats & Dogs before it was amazing. The community literally spammed them EVERYDAY. Which is what is happening now with seasons.

Cookie Gurl I agree, it makes me really aggravated. I wish we all would take a stand. I feel like EA doesn't care about there fans anymore or there think we're all made out of money. Over all I'm really disappointed 😔 she didn't even show the clothes cuz they barely had anything in cas(one shit for each sim) I'm extremely peaved off. If they keep doing this I'm not buying anything from them again. I've almost lose a long Loyal customer. It's annoying that's it a repeated trend for them.

It said on the sims website, that their would be Rabbits/Bunnies? Personally I think that would've added a nice touch because I have a bunny named Thumper, but I didn't see any bunnies or rabbits. Maybe it was a last minute switch? Btw I love You Sasha!

I think it's a little weird/funny how the hamsters get a 'food, attention, and activity' bar when you hover over them, but not cats and dogs, the pack this is based off. At least we have mods, lol.

I understand that this is a waste and should have been apart of the dogs and cats expansion pack. But guys, not everyone can afford the full expansion pack! I feel like this pack is nice for people who can't afford the expansion pack. Yes the pet clothes are useless but it's like a mini pets pack.

Im down with brutal opinions so here goes.. im super cheesed off 🐁 by this pack, this should have been a part of the cats & dogs OR if they where so hell bent on releasing a follow on from cats and dogs aka new pet pack they should have put the furniture and clothes in cats and dogs and concentrated more on the little pickles! Like come on pets to name a few this should have included not only rats/ mice, hedgehogs, hamsters and that weird little purple voidcritter thing that looks like a pencilcase i once had but should also have had turtles, tortoises, reptiles; lizards, snakes, birds; parrots, budgies, love birds!! Rabbits, guinea pigs and teacup pigs (stetching i know but pfft!). This pack should have then concentrated more on animal habitats not just here is the same one with a few recolours, like i would have loved outdoor stuff too like little huts, averies and inside of course cages, heated tanks or again outside ponds you can actually keep your caught fish and frogs in etc. Would have also loved the chance to own a pet shop too but hey. If they had done all this chucked in some cute clothes, hair and other awesome furniture type things for human sims and even just left the cats & dogs alone as a seperate thing i wouldn't even mind if they bumped it up to a game pack and would happily slap my buckaroos on the table. But... instead they have gone here is a minimal pack which was obv' suppose to be a part of cats & dogs but it weren't ready so we just thought we would release it separately so we can milk you for some more cash moneys.. oh and btw you can't actually use more than 50% of the content unless you own the expansion pack cats & dogs... having said all that i want the hedgehog so will still be buying it while sobbing and screaming inside..

I wish they made a little pet store that you could go to and choose your pet, like in the pet adoption menu. I also want them to add customizable cages, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, and skinny pigs. Some reptiles and amphibians would be cool too.
This pack is so cute! I love little animals and I think my children sims will LOVE the little critters!
I think it should of came with the parenthood pack cause it kind of goes with the idea of teaching the kids about responsibility
Vixella, I don’t know if you will ever read this but you should do a bouillon challenge where you only used already made rooms by EA. You have to keep the general scheme of the room but you can change the wall color and other objects colors. You can add hallways and change doors. I would love if you did this thank you for being amazing.

The Simming Goose cuz in other videos they showed that there was only one shirt for each age group. EA probably asked her not to show the clothes part so people would want to but the pack more. It was a marketing thing. Thanks EA for caring about your customers. I'm really disappointed in EA and everything they've been putting out. It just seems like all there trying to do with sims four is try and scam us. I'm frankly tried of it. I've been a loyal customer since I was five and I'm not buying anymore of there games.

But you’re giving EA your money and they will continue to money grab because they know they can and they know that the quality of the packs don’t have to be as GOOD.
martha YAS THANK!!! OMG someone finally understands. She didn't even show the clothes because they only gave one shirt the the sims for all ages and only three dog outfits. EA definitely doesn't care about there customers and I for one am tired of it. That's for caring about your fans EA. I won't be buying anything from them again. I've played sims since I was 5 years old and they weren't this money hungry. I totally understand where you're coming from.

If I'm doing a challenge where I know I'm going to be changing house a lot, I use the premade rooms, only because making a house takes me forever. If I have any inspiration, then I don't use them. I usually use it as the first house to get the general shape and then update from there.

Challenge Idea: Build a house (whatever size you would like) but you’re only allowed to use the pre made rooms EA has provided. You’re allowed to move the objects around and change the colors including wallpapers and floors but you can’t add to it. You have to work with what the room came with.

I wish there were lizards and bunnies too! :( But I love that there are hedgehogs because they are my favorite animal. I also don't like how there was cat and dog items because if someone gets this pack without having Cats & Dogs they will just have cat and dog items that they cant do anything with. But over all I really like the pets they are really cute, I just wish there was more of a variety of pets like lizards, bunnies, birds, etc.
they could have done so much with a small pets expansion. They could have added the ability to own and run pet stores. They could have added create a pet for small pets. They could have added different cages for the same pets which affects the pets happiness. They could have not given the pets the most terrifying blinking animation.

I will get this pack mostly because of the hedgehog, it's my cousin's dream pet, but she is too busy with college to have an actual pet... I think that she will like to have one on the sims sooo... yeah, getting this pack for sure! I'm also very exited about the new death, it brings me back to the sims 1 with the whole "infecting others" thing, I love that
I also really like the furniture and pet stuff and since I have cats and dogs I can actually use everything on the pack! I just wish they had turned this into an actual game pack with pet shops like the ones that we used to have ages ago and added lizards, chinchillas, snakes and birds! I really miss the pet shops in this game, it was better to go to the pet shop and make your own pet instead of having to cheat to get into CAS every time you want a really specific pet :(
It would also be pretty cool if they made the cages different, a hedgehog doesn't have the same needs as a hamster or a rat and I imagine that a void critter thing would have other needs as well... Being able to choose how the pets look like would also be nice since there are many kinds of hamsters, rats and hedgehogs

I am only 34 seconds into the video and I offcially love this pack because I have 2 gerbils ( closely related to but wildly different from hamsters ) and I got them last year, I was extremely depressed my dog was so old he couldn't lay on my bed w/ me anymore ( my FAV thing ever :c ) and life just sucked. But it does for everyone but I was just slowly going insane each week and I just wanted something to Hold and to be able to just scoop up and hug so my mom got me 2 gerbils after begging and begging she said fine :D and they just lit up my world and made me so happy and that little bit of extra love really helped me get out of that depression and if it wasn't for them I'd probably still hate this cruel world.
the moon on the children's onesie was from the toddlers stuff pack if you played on the big playset if the toddlers imagination skill was high enough.

The hamster/otherpets also had more features that more or less take time. They can launch rockets/travel the world and send you post cards, write novels, other stuff(?) You can also die from rabid rodent fever. So they did also add in a new disease/CoD. Just trying to let you know what you missed. For anyone who wants to see these features just google their livestream :>
I wish they added different cages for the different rodents and not just kept them in hamster cages, because i know what a rat cage looks like (since i have two pet rats of my own IRL) and it looks nothing like those cages. Rats don't go in tubes (at least mine don't). And they go in actual cages not the plastic or glass cage thing.
