The pepper is the jalapeño from the chapter "protection" (fist time Goliath tried the jalapeño). The book is the Grimorum Arcanorum. I would customize a Phoenix Gate to add it to his set. Beautiful figure.
Sweet Jalapeño
This was one of my favorite cartoon series as a kid and I still love it to this very day. I was blown away when I found out NECA was making these. I can't wait to get Goliath, he looks so badass. I hope Hudson is coming soon as he was my second favorite after Goliath.
Picked up mine today, just as the target employee was stocking the shelves. This does look amazing in hand.
I ran to my target after work yesterday when I saw that you had picked one up and I managed to get one as well. It’s so dope, I loved the show as a kid and had the old school toys. Love this figure!
As for the book it is just a generic book. Goliath was an avid reader in the show. Demona has the spell book called the Grimorum (not sure of the spelling) as her accessory.
I have to admit, the Ultimate Goliath action figure looks quite impressive.
I've been thinking about getting the NECA Gargoyles action figures myself.
I hope a reissued Goliath figure will be re-released at Walmart and Target for those who missed out on the first release.
The pepper: in one episode Broadway gave Goliath a jalapeño to try right before nightfall. Broadway was eating them like pickles and Goliaths reaction: Jalapeño! 🥵🥵🥵 Priceless! 🤗
Man i went out hunting for this guy again, and again no luck😶 but i was digging around and I found some ones hiding place and guess what I found…😲 a real good condition Neca 40th anniversary jumpsuit RIPLEY !!!!! 👌🥳
Sick figure! I ordered him and Chrome Dome during the NECA Sale. Very happy with him! I wish he had the caped wings, and glow in the dark or light up eyes. Aside from that, A+
Found one today. It’s fantastic. And I have a second one from my pre order on the way.
I was considering on ordering one, and while I was out today I saw 3 on a shelf at Walmart near the electronics dept. and bought 2 of them. $37 each, I was hooked on the series when it first came out. No regrets. Absolutely none.

I remember being all over Gargoyles for the first season, then it got SUPER lore and character-heavy and my low attention span couldn't take it. It is a bit of a rabbithole.
I just got mine tonight at Target
Brooklyn was eating a jar full of some jalapeños peppers and offered one to Goliath... He ate it and he yells Jalapeños because it was spicy ...Anyway yelling Jalapeños became a catch phrase through out the serie.
Definite pick up and i will buy as many of them as possible... Just hope they have them in their folded wings since those extended wings takes up too much display space

Picked up! Love it! Demona is next and I couldn't be happier! As for who's on my wish list? Everyone. All of the Gargoyles, all of the humans, all of the Children of Oberon! Everyone! The one I currently want to see most is David Xanatos in his armor.
You can get his feet flat, so that you don't have to rely on the tail for support.
The positioning of the feet is all wrong, he is supposed to stand on the balls of his feet. Go to 9:39 in this video that’s the proper stance.

Don’t look for the vintage stuff it’s all so fragile and breaks easily. I own a lot of the old stuff and it sucks compared to what Neca is about to put out
