Haha, my mom is a single mom, and she has always had clutter everywhere! This house reminded me of her. Now that me and my sibling have grown up, and I define myself as a minimalist, I try to help her organize haha. Such a wonderful and inviting home. I absolutely love playing with single mom families!

Kind of random but thanks for the respect to myself and the other single moms out there! As for the fact that you don’t know how we do it... well I can honestly say that most of us don’t either! There are a good number of tears (kids and adults alike) and, for me, plenty of prayer! I wouldn’t give my daughter up for anything but it IS hard! Especially when you throw in my foster children lol maybe I’m just insane!

i’m an only child and even tho i had a bigger room than my parent’s and a playroom there was toys everywhere 😂 i played in the living room in the hallways in my parents room in the bathroom in the garden i just left my stuff everywhere😂

I’m not an only child I have a brother but when we where younger we slept in my moms room we had bunk beds in there an his new room was our old play room and my new room was my big brothers old room

I’m an only child and my playroom was the biggest room in the house (besides the kitchen/dinning room) and I only played in there but my parents always made me clean my stuff up
We don’t have stuff everywhere because we want to keep it all in our rooms so no one touches it 😂

I love it! It's adorable! Despite the clutter it's a house a mom could be proud of. The clutter adds character and realism to houses. I love seeing the floor plans as they give me ideas if I do any building. :)

My parents built a house when I was a preteen so everything had it's place.I was the youngest of 2 girls but it was cozy. Now my house is messy with 4 energetic boys and pets haha

Yaaaaaas. I love that you made the correct order of a kitchen.
Fridge -> Counter space -> Sink -> Stove.
So many builders don’t do it and I know its the sims but it drives me crazy 😂
Theres an order? lol I always put fridges on the end, but other than that its always different.
MsGryphi hahaha in real life it usually does.
And I just love kitchens in general 😂 but in there is a order based on the way most people use the kitchen. Usually you take food out of the fridge (vegetables, meat, etc.) so you need counter space while taking everything out. Then you either clean the vegetables or put the meat to defrost in the sink. Then you either have more counter space or an island to chop and prepare the food for the stove.
This is not like a rule but its a very common order most kitchens follow
Growing up it was me and two siblings and my mom was a preschool teacher so it was VERY messy and just lots of toys and crafts 😂 so this house perfect captures what a house with children is like. I really love it and how lived in it looks!! Family houses are always my favorite, amazing job!

I love it when sims houses are more cluttered. It makes them look real and lived in. I think this is one of the areas where sims 4 trumps sims 3

Me and my sister lived with my grandma and my uncle. Me and my sister shared a room but I slept with my grandma. My sister was a teenage I was 4-5, so our shared room was pretty much her room. my uncle had his own room. He got paid to take care of my grandma and keep her house clean. He was a really neat dude and my toys were always neatly put away in the living room.
Love the colors in the house and the detailed cracked walls in the kids room.

I love this! Could you do a single dad's home? I haven't seen many people do it but I think it'd be really good. I'm a bit biased though because I grew up with my dad and I feel like they're a bit under appreciated. :)

The time before my brother came I had one Bedroom and one playroom, toys and stuff in both of them. When he came my old playroom became his bedroom which made it impossible for us to store everything in our rooms so we used the cozy living-room rug to play on, we had these boxes aligned with the wall with different toys and we often let our builds of legos, railways, Barbie stables and such stand there in the middle of the room for days cause we said “We’re going to continue playing tomorrow” but sometimes we didn’t and forgot to haha
oh man that sounds like so many toys. Can definitely relate to "imma play with it tomorrow!" and just leaving a mess.

The fish fail is legit! But mom’s room being tidy 🤣🤣🤣 we “just” repatriated my daughter’s room 2 weeks ago and I’m lucky my bed I clear enough to sleep on (my daughter is FOURTEEN, not a little kids!)! I’ve found so much random kid crap in my room over the years and have asked myself how it’s gotten there WAY too many times! Things like “why is there ONE shoe in here?” or “how did her backpack get in here? I could have SWORN she was wearing it when I dropped her off at school 3 hours ago!” Are totally common in single mom households!

MsGryphi now that she’s older the random kid stuff gets more and more bizarre! She’ll do laundry and bring my clothing to my room for me only for me to find random socks and underclothes that are OBVIOUSLY hers 🤣 I’m pretty sure she sits there and thinks of ways to stump me on how her stuff got into my room!
The foster kids are just as bad but at least I know how the baby’s stuff gets into my room!
Moms rooms are never safe from kids!

my mom is a single mother of four tho she has had one or two long term boyfriends/fathers of her children and our play rooms were our rooms and i remember our huge closets STUFFED with toys. my brothers closet was like a mountain of toys that they made me climb and search through bc i was the smallest and the floor of my room good luck walking through that 😂

5 sisters, 6 animals (3 cats, 2 dogs, 1 rabbit) and on top of that my family fostered (so in all 13-17 beings at a time in a 5 bedroom house), I can assure you I couldn't see the floor in one of (yeah, we had 2) family rooms at all times.

I had a split family. I was an only child at my mom and stepdad house and my mom wanted it neat and tidy, but at my dad and step mom's home I had 3 brothers so there was stuff everywhere and it was super unorganized.
How do you make the top cabinets like that? I cannot figure it out! 😅
There are counter and cabinet options. Hoping to do a general building tips/tricks video in the coming weeks. Planning to cover cabinet/counters in that :)
