This video feels very contemplative. I suspect from what I've seen of you in other vlogs, that that is very much a reflection of your life and who you are. Your narration and even the music you chose accentuate this feeling. I couldn't help but feel a kindred spirit in that, although I'm not racially diverse/ambiguous, as you are, I seem to share a similar experience. I'm very much an introvert, which lends itself to an overabundance of self-reflection. And, while I grew up on the East coast and am living there again, I lived in Hawaii with a majority of Filipino friends and was very involved in the Filipino community there (I am ethnically Italian and Irish). As a result, I relate to both cultures, but still don't feel as if I fully belong in either one. I think that's why I have such an affinity for your vlogs. I appreciate you being so open with your life journey, because it gives me fuel for thought about my own life journey. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with that "lifelong pursuit" as you put it. I've got more than a few years on you, but that doesn't mean I necessarily have more answers. I hope you can take some strength from knowing that it's okay to muddle through the confusion and that you don't have to feel like you're going to get all the answers. Just keep pushing on. Life is going to happen whether we know how to "do it" or not. It's best to keep on pursuing the adventures and embracing the life you have - no matter how confusing or uncomfortable it may feel. DTLA= Dont Trust anyone made in LA! Just kidding. I remember bumping into you in Greenbelt way back in 2008. You were wearing a white dress and flats. I had no idea who you were then i asked a buddy of mine if he recognized you. I will never forget your smile.
