Great series, thanks for the tips! I looked through all of your videos; any kind of an update on how things are holding up? I'm getting ready to pull the head on a machine with a bent valve. I don't plan on replacing the cylinder, but I may use the studs for reassembly. Thanks!
I was just talking with a buddy about this. The Rhino is still running great. The cheap Niche piston and cylinder are holding up fine. I have my stock cylinder here as a possible backup, it would need to be bored out to use it. I think the stud kit has helped immensely. Best of luck, thanks for watching.
I have the Grizzly 660, same engine, and I'm on the exact same path. It was smoking like a chimney when I bought it. Installed the Niche 100mm cylinder/piston kit, rode it for about 30 miles, and now it's blowing the coolant out. I even used new head bolts and torqued in the proper sequence. Did the head studs, higher torque values and quality gasket correct the issue for the long term? Thanks!
W W unfortunately we haven’t taken the Rhino out much. I have read a lot of issues with the Niche cylinders. I’m betting that mine fails again, at which point I will get a Yamaha cylinder. Good luck, hopefully I am wrong!
EXCELLENT VIDEOS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW AND UNDERSTAND
Thank you. I try to show as much as I can without making four hour long videos.
Same procedure for a Hisun 700, thank- you for verification I did it right. Kudos.
Dennis Vestby is that one of the clone models? I have heard that they are good copies, haven’t worked on one yet.

I have to adjust the valves on my 700 hinshu is it the same adjustment as the rhino? Mine is 2010
From what I have heard, they are really similar.
Thank you for the information
What year is your yamaha rhino 660?
It’s a 2006 if I remember correctly. Nothing really changed on the 660’s.
Those little advance mechanisms are time consuming. Good vid.
darren cycles yeah, they sure can be a pain.
