Mikey Mikey, if you had removed the grommet from the pillar, there's the plug that you unplug to remove the door. The reason why you have a gap between the liner and the bumper is that the bumper is missing that piece that attaches the liner to the bumper
Hey Mike, my vote is a classic Jag colour from the 60s-70s called, "Opalescent Silver Blue." It would look fantastic with the interior. The colour code manufacturers are: Dupont 8316L, PPG 12594 (1997), Ditzler 12594 (1997), Glasurit (BASF) JAG-7410S.
When I had my air conditioning repaired, the shop failed to put the exterior drain in the exterior. On a long road trip, the passenger side was flooded with water, like your car. After I removed the water, I kept the carpet up high, and installed a house fan in the car to dry it out. It will take forever letting it dry without a lot of air circulation, and may never properly dry, leading to mould and mildew.
The jaguar is coming along great Mike. The new parts are giving it a second chance to get it back to its former glory. I vote for the colour to be kept original.
Mikey with the Mariah Carey Xmas smile @13:31!! lmao As for color, i vote stock color…cheaper and engine bay color wont stand out. Also, we need a UA-cam Live broadcast!
Really great vlog . The joy of doing work on ones vehicle is never easy. I really enjoy your content. I think your Jaguar is similar to the Lincoln LS, maybe they share some body parts.
GREAT video, Mike! The car looks good! I understand your frustration. I usually HATE every car I work on! The older I get, the less my patience! The transmission jack was an awesome idea for the doors!
Mike, sorry to hear that you got frustrated with the door thing, but you did a great job on the fender. Hopefully this could taken away your frustration ! Enjoy very much watching your videos .... Good Luck !
Morning/afternoon Mike! Love the Jag-u-ar! I would not want to be in your shoes fixin' it though! Is there any way to glue that piece of the grill to the bumper? Otherwise you're going to have a heck of a rattle.
So good to see you Mike! Changing doors is not a fun job…did it on our Saab and it was brutal the whole way. Plus aligning to the body 😅 you have the patience of a saint. Cheers!
wow, you got the energy.. would take me 2years to pull out a interior and put i back again. If i had a shop/garage i had to have a dude doing that s... 🙂
Mike, I love your ducks commentary. He quacks so much because he is telling you that you're not doing it right. Fitting a luxury Jag into a Mondeo shell. Of cause it's difficult. Same when Mercedes tried to fit a GL class into a Grand Cherokee. 8 hours just to replace the alternator. The S-Type is my fav out of all the Mondeo class Jaguars. But still would take a XJ or Sovereign any day.
That was a lot of work Mike, but it looks fantastic. Can’t wait until you get it painted, I think that dark blue would look great on it, but it would be easier to go back with the color it came from the factory with….
Mike, I saw that thumbnail, and i just had to click…because it looks like you’re about ready to replace the jag’s headlight bulbs…😂😂😂 Also…Lola wants to bathe in that pond the jag’s got goin’ on…😂😂😂
Looking at it from the front, the dark blue is a nice contrast to the grey color. You could go for a two-tone paintjob - Maybach-style 😉👌 Oh yeah, that guy at the junkyard definitely had dinner on your 40 bucks
Another great video! I find your videos very detailed and you always do repairs yourself which makes your videos so much more believable than other channels. Just my opinion, Please keep up the great work
I had on late facilift 07 in indigo blue and it was a stunning colour for it and now I have another 07 diesel in British racing green which I also think it looks stunning on this car but I'd personally stick with the original colour
To keep my cars dry , I have small dehumidifier as moisture leakage though poorly fitting trim clips , still love your videos , either solos or with AAR
Those Big Cats always have problems... IS that the fuel filter behind the wheel... better change that at this time as well... O, keep your chin up old chap... !
Great job I would say the original color of the car would be the way to go!!! Great job great getting it done and I'm sure they will be very happy with it. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁❤️😁❤️
Mike you are man among men, you are not afraid to take on the big jobs and you always get the job done and it always looks better than when you start. As you say leave it better than you find it and you certainly did that for that Jaguar. I love these cars but I'm not as good of a mechanic as you are and I'm not rich so I couldn't pay someone a lot of money to fix it so I have to live without one. But I can watch my buddy, good ol' Monkey Wrench Mike maybe you've have heard of him. He'll show you why you don't want to own one. Love your video's they are the best, even the one's with Randy. Nice job on the Jag, you are indeed saving her from the junk yard. I really like the navy blue that is on the new bumper but it would be cheaper and easier to paint it back to the original color, which I guess is that darker gray color. I'm over silver cars so anything but that but your choice. 😀✌❤
This was a great video i enjoyed this alot and the jaguar has came along way and i think either a get the car painted grey like it is or get it painted blue like the bumper and fender is that blue does look pretty good. Anyway thanks for sharing mike keep up the great work much love to ya have a good one take care god bless and been loving seeing the jag come along cant wait to see her finished. And see theon the next one mike catch ya later
I say brittish racing green if you want to get a little crazy, or just one of those 2 stock colors if you want to play it safe. Hopefully, we see Rocki on video going to Maaco soon cant wait.
Great work!👍 the blue is much nicer than this mouse grey.. I think it was called Pacific Blue. And there was another shade of blue: Sapphire Blue. Also nice.
Don’t forget to transfer the chrome strip at the window edge on the old door to the new door
I saw that aswell
That jaguar has come a long way with all the work you've done..Great job Mike
Love the Blue of the new Bumper and Fender goes perfect with light gray interior
Mikey Mikey, if you had removed the grommet from the pillar, there's the plug that you unplug to remove the door. The reason why you have a gap between the liner and the bumper is that the bumper is missing that piece that attaches the liner to the bumper
We don't mind the quacking, so Lola can be outside next time!
Amazing work! Original color is the way to go...
Monkey Mike, I just want you to know that I have always given you a thumbs up every time I watch your videos. You make me smile each time.
Me too! I usually hit the like button before I start the video! 😂😂
Love to watch his Repair / Restore videos .... as always !
Beautiful in blue

Mike you have so much patience.. Still smiling through it all
Hats off to you Mike. Nice work!

Deep blue suits this Jag perfectly.
The jaguar is coming along great Mike. The new parts are giving it a second chance to get it back to its former glory. I vote for the colour to be kept original.
Keep the original color! Beautiful blue! I used to have a 66 (?) MK II 3.8. Now love the little S type. GREAT JOB!
The original colour for the Jag is good
You to swap the belt molding on the door you replace from that black to the chrome.
Mikey with the Mariah Carey Xmas smile @13:31!! lmao
As for color, i vote stock color…cheaper and engine bay color wont stand out.

Mike
Hello from England.
I think you should try your hand at pdr
Lots of the dents in your fleet might be easier to remove than you think.
Great vid
Mike the jaguar looks amazing good job 👏 can't wait to c it painted 😀
Yup Mike you sometimes have to walk away and Regroup 😂
Really great vlog . The joy of doing work on ones vehicle is never easy. I really enjoy your content. I think your Jaguar is similar to the Lincoln LS, maybe they share some body parts.
Thanks 👍
They do not share body parts even though they are platform siblings.
GREAT video, Mike! The car looks good! I understand your frustration. I usually HATE every car I work on! The older I get, the less my patience! The transmission jack was an awesome idea for the doors!
... undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cars in her class
Mike, sorry to hear that you got frustrated with the door thing, but you did a great job on the fender. Hopefully this could taken away your frustration ! Enjoy very much watching your videos .... Good Luck !
II've always had luck withh silver cars. They don't look too bad when they're dirtY and fabulos when they're polished.
Love the Jag, great work on it. I love the OEM color.
Morning/afternoon Mike! Love the Jag-u-ar! I would not want to be in your shoes fixin' it though! Is there any way to glue that piece of the grill to the bumper? Otherwise you're going to have a heck of a rattle.
Nice work MIKE
Keep same color cost more to change color.😊😊
Original blue!
So good to see you Mike! Changing doors is not a fun job…did it on our Saab and it was brutal the whole way. Plus aligning to the body 😅 you have the patience of a saint. Cheers!
Mike... did you see where Mortske repair bought a truck from copart OKC that was still on the hot sheet, and ended up in jail?
Nope!! I’ll have to find it!
wow, you got the energy.. would take me 2years to pull out a interior and put i back again. If i had a shop/garage i had to have a dude doing that s... 🙂
You are really doing a awesome job with these cars. I'm not saying this to butter you up. Don't stop doing what you do.

Haha!!
Great work mike😂
I like the darker blue on the bumper.
The blue she has is beautiful and unique.
I think that blue on the new front bumper would look good as an all over color for that car!! Great video, keep it up!
gray look good
I would love to see this car an elegant dark green , or black . Either would be very classy on this car !
Looking at it from the front, the dark blue is a nice contrast to the grey color. You could go for a two-tone paintjob - Maybach-style 😉👌 Oh yeah, that guy at the junkyard definitely had dinner on your 40 bucks
If you can get a fan to blow on that carpet, it will dry up a lot faster.
Blue looks good for me
You call her Rocky but your the boss, Mike
Great video my friend! Thank you for what you do. 😁
There were so many, "That's what she said!" options in this video that I couldn't pick a favorite.
Haha!
Great video car is looking good. Keep up the great work and videos. Can't wait till it gets painted
I really like that blue color! That’s my vote!
Good job Mike 😎😎👍👍
I'd stay with the original, but i really like the blue. Great video!
Another great video! I find your videos very detailed and you always do repairs yourself which makes your videos so much more believable than other channels. Just my opinion, Please keep up the great work

I love the blue.
Blue would look great 👍
looks good
Love the progress on the Jag Mike! Keep it up!
For that water infiltration drill some holes in the floor .And the color champagne. Love ur channel good job😮
I like that blue and gray goes nicely with blue
I’d just paint it the same current color. Keep it simple , so door jambs match.
Good work Mike, each car is unique.Blue will be perfect
Great job Mike your perseverance is paying off 🏴👍🏻
Jaguar Green is what they known for Enjoy your content Hi from South Africa
Thanks!!
I love love love the bumper color blue is the way to go or the same color will be cheaper cause of the door jams etc.
I'm a sucker for dark blue. The new fender and bumper look great against the gray interior.
I think a good shade of gloss black would look incredible on it
MIKE YOUR THE MAN WITH THE PLAN.
❤ nice video and funny
To keep my cars dry , I have small dehumidifier as moisture leakage though poorly fitting trim clips , still love your videos , either solos or with AAR
Those Big Cats always have problems... IS that the fuel filter behind the wheel... better change that at this time as well... O, keep your chin up old chap... !
I know it's Aggravating but you have done an Amazing Job 👍
Monkey Wrench Mike is a natural when it comes to fixing these cars. Great job Mike
Great job I would say the original color of the car would be the way to go!!!
Great job great getting it done and I'm sure they will be very happy with it.
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁❤️😁❤️

Great video and work on this😀
Good work Mike, each car is unique
Looking good , blue is best
good job mike love it
Soooo much better 💪
This was a great video i enjoyed this alot and the jaguar has came along way and i think either a get the car painted grey like it is or get it painted blue like the bumper and fender is that blue does look pretty good. Great job mike, paint the original colour is cheaper and not worth changing color
I say brittish racing green if you want to get a little crazy, or just one of those 2 stock colors if you want to play it safe. Hopefully, we see Rocki on video going to Maaco soon cant wait.
Mike don't let your duck see all that water he will think you made him a indoor pool😂
Og blue for sure
Meaby nice good old brittish racing green for the Jaaaaag.
next time pull or pop out the rubber floor pan plugs...then the water will drain out
Don't do a full color change because to do it properly would be expensive.. It would end up costing more than the car is worth.
Who said this clunker needs a proper paint job?
It's going to Maaco I'm sure.
Paint it Gray Mike it will sparkle like new money.
As a Brit, I say go for a British Racing Green wrap and a set of Anthracite alloys. Then a set of Eibach springs, car sorted.
Great work!👍 the blue is much nicer than this mouse grey.. I think it was called Pacific Blue. And there was another shade of blue: Sapphire Blue. Also nice.
I think you got parts from the pre facelift model and that’s why it was difficult to fit
I completely disassembled one of these. It was pretty easy, but figuring out what years the parts fit on is an absolute nightmare
The blue on the new bumper and fender is a nice color it would great that color
Your friend is going to be so excited to see it. I would have pulled my hair out by now. The silver color is so pretty
My favorite car is the turtle 900 SAAB! NON turbo.
Blue will be perfect
Blue looks great or grey. There are two different greys your choice.🚙
