Eey. My favorite anatomy teacher. Even though there are a lot videos on anatomy in youtube, not such as yours. With using different proper models and genuine concern for making it easy to understand your videos are more like a private lesson instead of what usual anatomy videos like; giving raw information , reading the presentation. I appreciate that you put good amount of details, teach as you're telling a story and show interconnections between subjects Sam. Thanks for sharing.Good luck with the new task!
@@SamWebsterSam, you’re brilliant. I like how you make us laugh along the way. All us humans need to learn this stuff. We’d end up being a lot more kind to each other I think.
I am a layman, having seen 100s of your videos on various subjects. I grateful I found you while searching for prostate. You are incredible teacher, as you are a born teacher, gifted with art of explaining very complicated things in simple way. I hope every medical student in the world finds you as also common people intending to have the basic knowledge about their own body.
As an Anatomy teacher I can just congratulate you Sam, you make learning funny and interesting. I am sharing your videos with all my medical students! Can't wait for your next videos! Thank you very much and have a happy 2018
Sam, I have only just found your posts on youtube, thanks to Tom Waldron. They are really great and I found it so much easier learning this stuff once I listened and watched you. Many thanks
Thank you so much for these videos! I am a first year medical student, and your descriptions have helped me to better understand our dissections - particularly landmark structures and their relationships.
Those who r persuing the path of liberation must admire the body anatomy presented by Sam Sir! Great way to get an insight into spirituality via anatomy! ❤❤❤
For the imagination and concept clearance... I first watch your videos and later on switch to books or charts... Thank you for making anatomy easy and interesting.. Love from India
Your videos are comprehensive and I greatly appreciate the models as it highlights the important parts that need to be visualize. Thanks from a struggling e-learning student.
I really appreciate the way you teach with so much enthusiasm and make students understand... had just subscribed your channel just after this video :) Really a big thanks for giving your valuable time in such good cause.. it really is helping and will help many students in future.. God bless you with all the happiness:) :)
I had not known how important is the perineal body. That’s only one of the things I learned from Professor Webster. This video elucidates and illustrates beautifully.
Thnku sir...your videos are the best anatomy videos i have come across....the way you teach uding models and not ppt, is really helping me out with my studies. I am from INDIA and in my final year of mbbs and your videos are really helpful in clearing my concepts. Hope you continue to make more and more such videos for us. Lots of love and thank you...
Sam, ur a certified badass saint (not just a saint but a badass one) for doing these videos. Super excellent instruction, big help for my upcoming radiological anatomy exam!
Excellent videos - keep up the great work! Have read Last's as well as watched multiple anatomy videos. Never understood the pelvis until I watched your series :)
I just love your teaching... Tq sooo much for such an understandable videos of anatomy... I wonder how could i understand so better of every part, if i missed ur channel.. Tq so much
Yes, i have been watching them lately.... i think i have some kind of damage to my pelvic floor where its caused inflammation of pudendal nerve....so this is very, very useful to me
This area of the body is vital to our good health. It is yet another area that delivers a special solution into our spine...a solution that reaches into every part of our body...a solution that soothes, relaxes, and repairs the parts our aging disrupts and degenerates. Imploding electromagnetic forces are stimulated within bone joints and this area of the body is ideally situated to suck this solution into the nerve hub we call the spine.
To answer your question "why is it called the iliococcygeus?" Levator ani originally arose from the pelvic brim (its present origin in most mammals) and in man has migrated down the side wall of the pelvis, bringing the tendinous arch with it. _Last's Anatomy Brilliant work! Thank you for your videos! :-)
Sir please help us about the forensic medicine and toxicology and also about the pathology...where do we get videos on these subjects... we really need someone like you...And by the way I am from India and I really like your videos and gave my Ist year anatomy exam recently and it went well and I found everything easy as never before...Thank you for guiding us through all this PLEASE help me here also. Yours sincerely Prashant Tiwari
In my bdc book its written that levator ani is made up of pubococcygeous, iliococcygeous and ischiococcygeous instead of the puborectalis u r mentioning So what is the correct answer
I have 2+ sources that define the deep pouch as the "space" occupied by the deep transverse perineal muscles and the external sphincter of the urethra, in between the superior and inferior fasciae of the urogenital diaphragm - not the space in between the deep transverse perineal muscles and the levator ani, as can be seen on your model (around 9 minutes). Are there multiple interpretations? Once again, big fan of your videos!
Yep u right.. Deep perineal space or pouch is between the two fascia containing the deep transversus muscle as well as rxtrernsl urethral sphincter, as u Said

In my bdc book its written that levator ani is made up of pubococcygeous, iliococcygeous and ischiococcygeous instead of the puborectalis u r mentioning
So what is the correct answer
puborectalis , read Moore , 5 th edition ,page 444 , figure 3.42.
