It was easier to open the key fob than the battery package!
Showed me exactly what to do and was easily fixed. Thanks!
Straight forward and easy to understand. Thank you.
Thanks wanted to double check before breaking anything 😅
Thanks for your help. Why wasn’t the internal battery a more common CR 2032 🤦🏻♂️
Off to get a CR2450
Easier than I thought, thanks!
Perfect video! Thank you!
Great easy to follow video 👍
Thank you very much, this was helpful.
Hi! I am here again November 2/2022 , just leaving a note to see when I was last here, felt like I just changed it - must have been the other remote! Thanks again for the helpful video !
Thx for adding the link to the battery.
Thank you fir the easy explanation
Thanks for the help😊😊Very easy 😊😊
Awesome, very helpful!
Thank you for this video.
Great help.
Thank you!
Thank you very helpful
Thanks for the video
Perfect - thanks!
Thanks!
You are the best!!!
Thank you
I got the same key fob for my 2017 ford fusion hybrid
Thank u very much
God bless you bro
Thx
Thankyou!!!!
This works for all Ford vehicles using the same remote, This works on my 2018 Ecoboost Mustang, which uses the exact remote, however the only difference, the Mustang remote has the Pony logo instead of the Ford oval logo.
Yes that's my car too and just started getting a prompt that the battery was low.
Tanks
Excellent job, same fob on my 2018 Edge. Thank you ❤️
Me too! I like how the car told me my battery was getting low.
Is the metal top piece supposed to come off?
thanks bud. I probably would have broken it without proper instructions.
Can any battery brand work or does it have to be Panasonic?
do you need to re-program the key fob after replacing the battery? Also I thought you could recharge it by placing it in the center compartment? 2018 Ford Explorer Sport
You don’t need to re program the key. And battery is not rechargeable
Great video, except
For the part about the “flathead philips” screwdriver…
OMG I didn't know there was a valet key! lol But then again I have never used a valet cuz I'm a cheapskate.
Flathead Phillips screwdriver? 😂
Your not the sharpest tool in the shed eh?
My 2017 f350 uses this identical fob. No idea what the valet key is for. I don’t think my truck has anywhere to put it.
Today I couldn't get my Explorer started and the battery on the FOB was dead. The straight key that is inside the FOB is the key you put into the keyhole to the right of the handle you open the door with. I turned the key and opened the car and got out the other FOB and started the car.
@@jgates1027 valet keys normally let you drive the car but not unlock glove box or trunk? Maybe it’s just a figure of speech in this case.
Awesome video! But on the battery, it’s looks like GR 2450. Is it CR or GR?
It looks like a spec of dust making the C look like a G 1:00
It is a CR2450
Do they have to be reprogrammed after battery replacement?
The key fobs don’t have to be reprogrammed after replacing the batteries. Just install the new ones and you’re good to go.
I did this on a 2018 ford explorer xlt & the car won’t start .. lol
@@LauraGutierrezH well that’s not good. I replaced my battery maybe two months ago and it worked fine. Weird your car won’t start anymore
@LauraGutierrez-mt6vj That's strange, I did mine shortly after watching the video and it worked fine. I don't know what would prevent the car from starting.
I’m getting it checked out , I think it could possibly be the cars battery too. I know nothing about cars though aha
That’s not a valet key you are removing.
Thank you! I have a 2019 Ford fusion with this same style key fob and it just told me the battery is getting low
Same!!!
Thank you
Thanks!
