Extremely helpful video, helped me to completing my first Quad which is also my main engineering project at school.

I'm working on my first build of a S500 with a kk mini and flysky fs t6. after watching this and others and fab servo wires I have everything set up to the point your at here. Now I was expecting that the motors would fire up but nothing. Got any ideas of what Im missing?

just wondering whether the distance between each motors are the same? did you weight the mass one arm? do you know the mass of your centre point without any hardware added? I am wondering because I am doing a modelling and simulation using this Dji model.

Whenever i try to arm the kk 2.1.5 flight control board by moving down the throttle and towards the left it says armed. But after that when I try to give a little throttle the kk board auto-disarms itself. What could be the reason?
Wiring of all the receiver, board and motors are in the correct manner, throttle end points are also between the range of 0-100.
Where did you get the servo extension leads (Medusa head single pins)? Looking to buy those and I don't know what to call them.
sir , I bought HW ESC 30A for quadcopter. But with setup to kk 2.1.5 . the esc's are not calibrated properly. please help me in calibrating esc's
Before calibration the esc you should have to set all the values of throttle rudder etc to zero in reciver test after that put the quad in flat surface calibrate acc it worked for me
Hey why r you using kk 2.1.5 controller I can only use fly sky transmitter and receiver to run the quadcopter. Means I want to actually say that what is the difference if I don't use kk 2.1.5 controller

The first slot is for the bind plug. This had me confused too, as the channels would not matchup. I switched to the Turnegy X8, because you got more channels than the Flysky.

+Rohit Chauhan You might to calibrate your ESC's. This is needed when binding a new transmitter.

Yes, for the most part it would be the same. I have a video on this channel of me hooking up a Flysky Transmitter, which I believe is only four channels.

+lingesh GH It sound like your transmitter is not bound to your receiver. Below is a video on how to bind your receiver. Do not plug a battery into the receiver, like shown in this video. Just power up your quadcopter like you normally do to turn it on, but with the Turnigy bind plug in the receiver. ua-cam.com/video/9pgfRykX9dU/v-deo.html

There's another workaround you can use. In CleanFlight you can remap the channels without changing wires. I found this thread on reddit and it saved my sanity! The crux of it is "After reading about FlySky, supposedly they have their own proprietary channel mapping. To correct this in CLEANFLIGHT (maybe the same for Baseflight). Go to the CLI Tab. Type "map" -press Enter- then type "map 4RETA123" -press Enter" - there's a little bit more too it the thread is here: read first two posts www.reddit.com/r/Multicopter/comments/470vhv/naze32_rev5_flysky_fst6_fsr6b_channel_mapping/ It's for a Naze with TS-F6 but same principle
