Hi I live in the UK and rough collies are quite rare here now, but I have had rough collies for at least the last thirty years, two tri colours and my present dog Daisy who is 11 1/2 now, she is a diva who thinks I only exist to wait on her, she may be right on that one, but I wouldn't be without her, that's her picture in my profile picture, I dread her getting older because I'm getting older with her and she may be my last dog, I've got arthritis and a young dog might be too much for me now, but I'm not going to think about it and just enjoy her, these puppies are adorable and take me right back in time, xxx
I loved Lassie 😍🤗 when I was a kid I wanted a dog like Lassie but my allergies we're bad and I was allergic to their dandruff.I hated that because I was a dog lover and still is.
I had 2 rough collies growing up. Both did not grow up together. 1st collie lived to age 11 years and 2nd collie lived to age 14 nose cancer took his life in 2007. In 2008. I downsized to my very 1st Shetland Sheepdog he passed away in 2020 at age 12 1/2. In 2021, I got my Shetland Sheepdog who is 2years old in 2023. My favorite herding breed dogs are Rough collies and Shetland sheepdog.

I've had many collies over the last 46 years. I've got a male named Skye now. He's a really good boy, not a Barker, very sweet. But he has alot of fear issues, such as trucks, motorcycles, and especially the garbage truck. He's almost 8 years now, and hasn't grown out of it. Any tips? Thanks.
