It took a colossal amount of time to make too (fun fact, I have WIP of this song from July 2018). Chronologically, this track takes place after other songs that are yet to be released. My original plan, at the end of 2023, was to have those tracks done before the release of "Primordial Sacrifice," but unfortunately, I went into a musical burnout - to the point I honestly considered stopping making music altogether. That's why you haven't seen any posts since the latest release: I took a long break and, while it's starting to get a bit better, I still need time to find my love for composing music again. The tracks that should have been released before are "Centipede of Nightmares," "Scion of Arcane," and "Starlight VS Centipede." As you'd guess, like Ember is the Scion of Heroes, Starlight would be the one of Arcane. This track is sung by "Python-Starlight" as she took control over her, and tells what happened 25,000 years ago and how they managed to vanquish/banish the Destruction and Nightmares. An important thing to note is that everything in this video (whether it be the song or the artworks) is from PYTHON'S POINT OF VIEW. Maybe Ayzat and/or Naegissa have another version of that story to tell... who knows? A great calamity that could only be stopped by splitting the souls of the alicorns into three, so they no longer have the energy needed to continue to power Aquasha and Nerath, making the two weak enough to be sundered into celestia and Luna
So there used to be thousands of alicorns, but a mass extinction event occurred with Celestia and Luna being the only known survivors. Interesting, can’t wait to see what comes next.
Or they were created by the event. The song mentions casting a spell that was once forgotten. The spell was probably the catalyst that caused the event but it could have also been what created Celestia and Luna which could explain why they’re shown sealed in crystal.
@@Mask-sf5quthat’s a good point and it could potentially tie into the canon lore of MLP. not existing before the event would mean they have no memory of alicorn cultures or ways of life before the mass extinction event which could explain why they wouldn’t anticipate Flurry Heart being born and alicorn. No idea if that will be explored; at the time or typing this none of the existing Infinite Eclipse lore mentions Cadence or Flurry outside of the descriptions of UEP Commander Shining Armor and The Whispers In Your Mind (The Crystallized).

Jyc, if you're reading this, here is my personal idea for the full roster of Primordial Scions: Ember, Scion of Heroes Starlight Glimmer, Scion of Arcane Twilight Sparkle, Scion of Flames Shining Armor, Scion of Light Tempest Shadow, Scion of Storms Daring Do, Scion of Sand Capper, Scion of Thunder My reasonings are as follows. Twilight Sparkle gaining Ardenu's power: Her infamous "Rapidash" form, as shown in the episode Feeling Pinkie Keen. She also was the only member of the Mane Six to have a close bond with Celestia, so the fire dynamic would be a clever nod to their original relationship. Plus, Twilight would look cool with some Kirin-ish features and flaming wings! Shining Armor gaining Luxoah's power: The Crystal Heart is said to bring love and *light* to all of Equestria. As Prince of the Crystal Empire, it seems rather fitting. Tempest Shadow gaining Ventae's power: During her time as a villain, she not only served the *Storm* King, but was also the one who spearheaded the invasion of Mount Eris. In other words, she has connections to the Hippogriffs, who are the descendant race of Ventae. Furthermore, Tempest only got two cameos in the show, and I'm sure many people would want to see her get a bigger role again. Even if it's in a fan work. Daring Do gaining Saburo's power: Saburo is described as rather mysterious. So is A.K Yearling, in order to hide her double life. Who's had adventures in countless temples and ruins, including desert places? Daring Do! Also, she deserves a chance to be a more public hero. Capper gaining Fulmen's power: Being an Abyssinian, aka one of the King of Thunder's two descendant races, he seems the perfect choice. Plus, when reading about Fulmen's personality, it reminded me a lot of Capper. Suave, high self esteem, pays attention to details, and generally a very lively fellow. Like Tempest, our resident literal cat burglar only had a cameo in the show. You don't have to use these characters. They're just my suggestions as a fan.
The choir makes it sound like every member of the UEP is giving a prayer to the Pantheon....or whatever's left of them. Especially with the lines "bring glory to your kingdom", "hear the claims of your daughters and sons", and "bring us your blessed rain". I know that the plan is for this to just be the prequel (and thus the Goddesses won't be defeated by the end), but I genuinely think it'd be more potent for history to repeat instead, with Starlight Glimmer, Ember, and whoever the other Scions will be making the same ultimate sacrifice as the Primordial Pantheon did......maybe even wiping Equestria clean, if only to eliminate the chance for the cults of Aqasha and Nerath to rise once more anytime soon through pony kind. If the world became filled with life again before, surely it could happen a second time? Also, even if it takes some time for the three tracks chronologically before this one to be released (I'm especially looking forward to hearing "Scion of Arcane"), maybe you could at least commission someone to make solo art of Starlight-Python (and maybe the other Scions as well) while we wait? Edit: nvm I found artwork of Starlight-Python!

This is an amazing song with catchy lyrics, storyline, video and details of past songs (Together "Against the Sisters, Finale eclipse" and a others). This is a really good song!
A little detail I noticed in this that is almost certainly a coincidence, but that I love. In this song there’s the line “and the stars became almighty to cast down their curse forever” in Naegissa’s song there’s a line that means “the night has come the stars disappeared” it gives that lyric more context, the stars are what prevented Nerath, Naegissa was rejoicing the banishment wasn’t permanent.
The Mare in the Moon prophecy from canon stated that "On the thousandth year, the stars shall aid in her escape". So that's something to think about, too. The stars were what freed Nightmare Moon from her own banishment....allowing Princess Luna to be restored, and eventually for Nerath to return upon her death in the war..

I know I've already commented on this masterpiece 3 times, but with each rewatch, I think of something new to speculate about. For example, according to Infinite Eclipse Origins, Equestera had a thriving ecosystem of spirits. Who's known as the *Spirit* of Chaos and Disharmony? Discord! Perhaps he was a spirit who managed to gain physical form, via whatever spell Python used to turn her and the rest of the Pantheon's remaining magic into the races of Equestria. If Discord IS a literal spirit manifested....maybe he was actually there 25,000 years ago. Remember how he whisked Fluttershy away to his dimension right before before the war between Luna and Daybreaker began? What if that wasn't because of his established protective streak when it comes to Fluttershy....but because he knew something nocreature else did? What if he realized Scarlet Stinger and Icy Cobalt's plan to bring the Goddesses back? If there's one creature who truly understands manipulation, it's Discord. Not even HE would be powerful enough to stop what was coming! Hence why he took Fluttershy and got the *(yay)* outta dodge. To spare her from the fate that would inevitably befall the world.

Okay okay okay, first off 'chefs kiss' beautiful this make me wanna cry out of the sheer tragedy this story is to all the alicorn characters and the visuals being in the form of moving stained glass window paintings is PEAK! Now for the story, we all knew that the alicorn civilizations fell and that it was due to the Goddesses. And I wasn't surprised that the old rulers had to sacrifice themselves, but Python had to wipe EVERYBODY out!? Was that because everyone was either dead/resurrected so the sacrifice was a last ditch effort to stop them because there was just NOBODY left? I wouldn't think so because there are several current day species (like the dragons, hippogriffs, etc) that are said to be descended from these ancient alicorns. So did the spell wipe out those dead and infected and remove the extra magic from the survivors? And how the heck did Celestia and Luna end up frozen a la Avatar Aang style under the ocean? Were they kidnapped and put there as a contingency plan when the priestess/followers back then caught wind of what the Kings and Queens were doing? Did Celestia or Luna even REMEMBER this little fact about themselves? So many questions. Im thoroughly intrigued and I can't wait to see what else you come up with for this story. (Also sorry if i sound scrambled it put this together as my thoughts came to me lol).
That last part would make sense, due to the fact the sisters were tricked by the priestesses I think they didn’t know their purpose or actively refuse to take part in it. If they did and were willing to go along with it Luna wouldn’t’ve fought NM off for so long. They were scared. I’m starting to think Tia collapsed under the weight of her own rule and that’s how Aqusha let herself in. Remember that one episode with Luna and Celestia? How STRESSED she was all day and even Luna couldn’t handle it? That’s my theory why she just randomly turned into Daybreaker, it wasn’t just something she did, Celestia couldn’t handle it anymore and Aqusha said “Heyyyyyy you know that ruling thing? I can take that off your hands! Just let me in! :)” just like how Nightmare moon convinced Luna.

I must admit that i have lost track of the plotline of the Infinite Eclipse story, but i can't even care about that in the face of 8 full minutes of such glorious music! I need to refresh my memory, but the story being told really feels so rich and interesting, and the musical form of storytelling you've chosen is unique in the best way!

I still can’t believe that this song you’ve been working on for years just so happened to premiere on my birthday (that legit felt like some “stars align” type stuff. I just realized, are there any frames of the animatic where we actually see Aquasha and Nerath? I only notice their priestesses. If they're not there I'm curious if they looked the same back then, or if the appearance of their forms we see in the final eclipse are influenced from the bodies they changed being Celestia and Luna's originally. Edit: Is that them at 6:37 - 6:54? I noticed those two had 4 wings each.

Depressingly we already have a confirmation of what will happen to the cannon characters... no survivors. At least so far. Jyc wants to make the eclipse something he can publish in some way (and it's also set 300 years after IE:P) and unfortunately if he wants to do that he can't have anything that can get hasbro chasing him directly. Usage of Twilight will not be possible in that regard.
I've been watching this series since the first volume. Sun of the night being the thing that got me hooked. And ive been happily listening to these tracks since. You really know how to set a mood. This song always gives me chills whenever I listen to it. It really feels like it's dedicated to higher beings by a real cult that it's singing the story. And the way the music perfectly reflect the narration is top notch (like the part dedicated to Naegissa and Ayzat) I'm not in the MLP fandom (I only have some basic lore knowledge) but I've been listening since the very first time I listened to "Together, against the sisters" And seeing all the lore you've created unfolding is amazing I hope you'll recover from your burnout Good art takes time and this song is the proof Wish you the best

This is a fantastic piece of music, truly one of your greats. Is it one of your best? In my opinion no, not when you've got Together against the sisters and Final eclipse that literally give me Goosebumps. But overall a wonderful listen and great visuals
ngl, i joined the discord but now joining, I didn't know where or if precisely I could admit i've kind of made a non-canonical "answer" song towards the Final Eclipse on there. I feel yah, I've been having an art burn out. Not that i've stoped drawing, no. I just have either lacked motivation to upload or been getting sidetracked with other ideas. I'm glad that your love of music has not been lost. The world would be a slightly darker place without your contribution. Songs like this move people. The stories behind them as well. I'm not an MLP fan, but Infinite Eclipse is something else. Don't overwork yourself, take enough breaks. Get well, that's more important than anything else atm.

Hey everyone! Long time no see!
After several months of silence, here's finally a brand new track. And it’s a very special one - a track I honestly consider my best yet so far.
The song is called "Primordial Sacrifice" and it takes place in "Infinite Eclipse: Prequel's Finale." This is the longest song I’ve worked on, with many amazing people. It took a colossal amount of time to make too (fun fact, I have WIP of this song from July 2018).
Chronologically, this track takes place after other songs that are yet to be released. My original plan, at the end of 2023, was to have those tracks done before the release of "Primordial Sacrifice," but unfortunately, I went into a musical burnout - to the point I honestly considered stopping making music altogether.
That's why you haven't seen any posts since the latest release: I took a long break and, while it's starting to get a bit better, I still need time to find my love for composing music again.
The tracks that should have been released before are "Centipede of Nightmares," "Scion of Arcane," and "Starlight VS Centipede." As you'd guess, like Ember is the Scion of Heroes, Starlight would be the one of Arcane.
This track is sung by "Python-Starlight" as she took control over her, and tells what happened 25,000 years ago and how they managed to vanquish/banish the Destruction and Nightmares.
An important thing to note is that everything in this video (whether it be the song or the artworks) is from PYTHON'S POINT OF VIEW.
Maybe Ayzat and/or Naegissa have another version of that story to tell... who knows?
In any case, this song is what I consider my pinnacle as a composer and I really hope you like it!

You cannot tell me that was not inspired by the sundering. A great calamity that could only be stopped by splitting the souls of the alicorns into three, so they no longer have the energy needed to continue to power Aquasha and Nerath, making the two weak enough to be sundered into celestia and Luna
To be fairly honest, I had this overall plan before I played FF14, but when I got to this part of the story I was like "wait a minute..." xD
So there used to be thousands of alicorns, but a mass extinction event occurred with Celestia and Luna being the only known survivors. Interesting, can’t wait to see what comes next.
Or they were created by the event. The song mentions casting a spell that was once forgotten. The spell was probably the catalyst that caused the event but it could have also been what created Celestia and Luna which could explain why they’re shown sealed in crystal.
@@Mask-sf5quthat’s a good point and it could potentially tie into the canon lore of MLP. not existing before the event would mean they have no memory of alicorn cultures or ways of life before the mass extinction event which could explain why they wouldn’t anticipate Flurry Heart being born and alicorn. No idea if that will be explored; at the time or typing this none of the existing Infinite Eclipse lore mentions Cadence or Flurry outside of the descriptions of UEP Commander Shining Armor and The Whispers In Your Mind (The Crystallized).

Ember, Scion of Heroes
Starlight Glimmer, Scion of Arcane
Twilight Sparkle, Scion of Flames
Shining Armor, Scion of Light
Tempest Shadow, Scion of Storms
Daring Do, Scion of Sand
Capper, Scion of Thunder
My reasonings are as follows.
Twilight Sparkle gaining Ardenu's power: Her infamous "Rapidash" form, as shown in the episode Feeling Pinkie Keen. She also was the only member of the Mane Six to have a close bond with Celestia, so the fire dynamic would be a clever nod to their original relationship. Plus, Twilight would look cool with some Kirin-ish features and flaming wings!
Shining Armor gaining Luxoah's power: The Crystal Heart is said to bring love and *light* to all of Equestria. As Prince of the Crystal Empire, it seems rather fitting.
Tempest Shadow gaining Ventae's power: During her time as a villain, she not only served the *Storm* King, but was also the one who spearheaded the invasion of Mount Eris. In other words, she has connections to the Hippogriffs, who are the descendant race of Ventae. Furthermore, Tempest only got two cameos in the show, and I'm sure many people would want to see her get a bigger role again. Even if it's in a fan work.
Daring Do gaining Saburo's power: Saburo is described as rather mysterious. So is A.K Yearling, in order to hide her double life. Who's had adventures in countless temples and ruins, including desert places? Daring Do! Also, she deserves a chance to be a more public hero.
Capper gaining Fulmen's power: Being an Abyssinian, aka one of the King of Thunder's two descendant races, he seems the perfect choice. Plus, when reading about Fulmen's personality, it reminded me a lot of Capper. Suave, high self esteem, pays attention to details, and generally a very lively fellow. Like Tempest, our resident literal cat burglar only had a cameo in the show.
You don't have to use these characters. They're just my suggestions as a fan.
I do believe the Primordial Scions were chosen long ago.
The choir makes it sound like every member of the UEP is giving a prayer to the Pantheon....or whatever's left of them. Especially with the lines "bring glory to your kingdom", "hear the claims of your daughters and sons", and "bring us your blessed rain". I know that the plan is for this to just be the prequel (and thus the Goddesses won't be defeated by the end), but I genuinely think it'd be more potent for history to repeat instead, with Starlight Glimmer, Ember, and whoever the other Scions will be making the same ultimate sacrifice as the Primordial Pantheon did......maybe even wiping Equestria clean, if only to eliminate the chance for the cults of Aqasha and Nerath to rise once more anytime soon through pony kind. If the world became filled with life again before, surely it could happen a second time? Also, even if it takes some time for the three tracks chronologically before this one to be released (I'm especially looking forward to hearing "Scion of Arcane"), maybe you could at least commission someone to make solo art of Starlight-Python (and maybe the other Scions as well) while we wait?

Even if the cycle is doomed to repeat over and over, at least evil will be vanquished before each reset. Congrats, Jyc- you're well on your way to making me switch my allegiance from the Crystalized to the UEP. *SAVE ME, O CRYSTAL GODDESS!*

Am I the only one reminded of the Horus Heresy when I hear this?
A little detail I noticed in this that is almost certainly a coincidence, but that I love. In this song there’s the line “and the stars became almighty to cast down their curse forever” in Naegissa’s song there’s a line that means “the night has come the stars disappeared” it gives that lyric more context, the stars are what prevented Nerath, Naegissa was rejoicing the banishment wasn’t permanent.
Yea I've also noticed a theme of rain as well. In against the sisters the lyrics mentioned rain maybe stars and rain has an importance

The Mare in the Moon prophecy from canon stated that "On the thousandth year, the stars shall aid in her escape". So that's something to think about, too. The stars were what freed Nightmare Moon from her own banishment....allowing Princess Luna to be restored, and eventually for Nerath to return upon her death in the war..

I know I've already commented on this masterpiece 3 times, but with each rewatch, I think of something new to speculate about. For example, according to Infinite Eclipse Origins, Equestera had a thriving ecosystem of spirits. Who's known as the *Spirit* of Chaos and Disharmony? Discord! Perhaps he was a spirit who managed to gain physical form, via whatever spell Python used to turn her and the rest of the Pantheon's remaining magic into the races of Equestria.
If Discord IS a literal spirit manifested....maybe he was actually there 25,000 years ago. Remember how he whisked Fluttershy away to his dimension right before before the war between Luna and Daybreaker began? What if that wasn't because of his established protective streak when it comes to Fluttershy....but because he knew something nocreature else did? What if he realized Scarlet Stinger and Icy Cobalt's plan to bring the Goddesses back? If there's one creature who truly understands manipulation, it's Discord. Not even HE would be powerful enough to stop what was coming! Hence why he took Fluttershy and got the *(yay)* outta dodge. To spare her from the fate that would inevitably befall the world.

Okay okay okay, first off 'chefs kiss' beautiful this make me wanna cry out of the sheer tragedy this story is to all the alicorn characters and the visuals being in the form of moving stained glass window paintings is PEAK!
Now for the story, we all knew that the alicorn civilizations fell and that it was due to the Goddesses. And I wasn't surprised that the old rulers had to sacrifice themselves, but Python had to wipe EVERYBODY out!? Was that because everyone was either dead/resurrected so the sacrifice was a last ditch effort to stop them because there was just NOBODY left? I wouldn't think so because there are several current day species (like the dragons, hippogriffs, etc) that are said to be descended from these ancient alicorns. So did the spell wipe out those dead and infected and remove the extra magic from the survivors? And how the heck did Celestia and Luna end up frozen a la Avatar Aang style under the ocean? Were they kidnapped and put there as a contingency plan when the priestess/followers back then caught wind of what the Kings and Queens were doing? Did Celestia or Luna even REMEMBER this little fact about themselves? So many questions. Im thoroughly intrigued and I can't wait to see what else you come up with for this story. (Also sorry if i sound scrambled it put this together as my thoughts came to me lol).
That last part would make sense, due to the fact the sisters were tricked by the priestesses I think they didn’t know their purpose or actively refuse to take part in it. If they did and were willing to go along with it Luna wouldn’t’ve fought NM off for so long. They were scared.
I’m starting to think Tia collapsed under the weight of her own rule and that’s how Aqusha let herself in. Remember that one episode with Luna and Celestia? How STRESSED she was all day and even Luna couldn’t handle it? That’s my theory why she just randomly turned into Daybreaker, it wasn’t just something she did, Celestia couldn’t handle it anymore and Aqusha said “Heyyyyyy you know that ruling thing? I can take that off your hands! Just let me in! :)” just like how Nightmare moon convinced Luna.
I also Wonder why they have to wipe everybody ?

Now I have more questions then answers, like how did Aqasha and Nerath find the power of nightmares and destruction and how did cultists of nightmares and destruction survive and did Phython now the the goddesses would be turned into normal alicorns?
To answer the cultist stuff. You see that OG ayzat and naegissa leave behind books. Whatever may have been in those could potentially be what has kept the following of the goddesses alive

I must admit that i have lost track of the plotline of the Infinite Eclipse story, but i can't even care about that in the face of 8 full minutes of such glorious music! I need to refresh my memory, but the story being told really feels so rich and interesting, and the musical form of storytelling you've chosen is unique in the best way!

Dude… you have seriously outdone yourself. I still can’t believe that this song you’ve been working on for years just so happened to premiere on my birthday (that legit felt like some “stars align” type stuff. My favorite musician premieres this massive song on my birthday? How cool is that!?)
The music, the vocals, the visuals, everything came together so nicely. The stained glass style was such a nice choice. I’m a sucker for powerful orchestral music and songs that tell stories, and this does both perfectly. I’m still so happy that my OC got to appear in one of your videos.

I just realized, are there any frames of the animatic where we actually see Aquasha and Nerath? I only notice their priestesses. If they're not there I'm curious if they looked the same back then, or if the appearance of their forms we see in the final eclipse are influenced from the bodies they changed being Celestia and Luna's originally. Edit: Is that them at 6:37 - 6:54? I noticed those two had 4 wings each.

Depressingly we already have a confirmation of what will happen to the cannon characters... no survivors. At least so far. Jyc wants to make the eclipse something he can publish in some way (and it's also set 300 years after IE:P) and unfortunately if he wants to do that he can't have anything that can get hasbro chasing him directly. Usage of Twilight will not be possible in that regard.

I've been watching this series since the first volume. Sun of the night being the thing that got me hooked. And ive been happily listening to these tracks since. You really know how to set a mood. This song always gives me chills whenever I listen to it.
It really feels like it's dedicated to higher beings by a real cult that it's singing the story.
And the way the music perfectly reflect the narration is top notch (like the part dedicated to Naegissa and Ayzat)

This is a fantastic piece of music, truly one of your greats. Is it one of your best? In my opinion no, not when you've got Together against the sisters and Final eclipse that literally give me Goosebumps. But overall a wonderful listen and great visuals

ngl, i joined the discord but now joining, I didn't know where or if precisely I could admit i've kind of made a non-canonical "answer" song towards the Final Eclipse on there.
Its complete WIP, I have the lyrics down and a story to go along with it, but never found anything or anyone to rly get the song to happen.

So good, I've been listening to this a ton lately.
I'm glad that your love of music has not been lost. The world would be a slightly darker place without your contribution. Songs like this move people. The stories behind them as well. I'm not an MLP fan, but Infinite Eclipse is something else. Don't overwork yourself, take enough breaks. Get well, that's more important than anything else atm.
