Interesting! Would you please do Patons Classic Worsted?
I'm interested in seeing how it compares to this one.
    TY!!

We can certainly add that one to our list! We did a review for their Kroy Sock in the winter yarn if you'd be interested in that as well:)

great review! thank you so much!
Do you plan to review Lana Grossa? Lana Grossa is like really huge in Germany and its neighboring countries but I never watched any knitters living in the North America review or even mention Lana Grossa brand. So, I'm very curious, how you guys feel compared to other yarn brands.

Cool wool baby, cool wool big...@UntwistedThreads are yarns my sister loves to use for my toddler and I agree, very commonly used here in Germany

Like you, I'm sensitive to wool and itchy fabrics. So, I'm not sure what to do with the seemingly BAZILLION patterns that call for holding lace weight mohair because I've also read that mohair can be especially irritating. In that regard, I want to suggest an episode on alternatives in general and Compatible Cashmere by Knitting for Olive specifically. Thanks for your channel!

You are exactly right! Thank you for the recommendations! I would love to explore and share some mohair alternatives!:)

I am using Peer Gynt right now to make PetiteKnit's Eva Cardigan. I agree it's pretty rustic, even with occasional pieces of straw to pull out (in your swatch I had to look for them, but I picked Poppy red and they stand out). My swatch softened a good bit after one wash, so I can imagine it will continue to soften with additional washes.
I'm also interested in Brooklyn Tweed yarns and/or Noro Madara.

Thank you Julia for your thoughts! I did notice a few straw pieces too, and it softened some when blocking our swatch, but you're exactly right- it should soften more over time too! I would love to hear your thoughts after you've completed your cardigan! And wow, a Poppy Red Eva Cardigan would be so fun!
      Noted for the recommendations!:)

Don’t forget that Peer Gynt is available in a lot of Canadian yarn shops. With the currency exchange it might be very affordable

@@UntwistedThreads hi! I have made 3 petiteknit Louvre sweaters, an Ingrid sweater, and an Ingrid slipover in Peer Gynt. I’ve also made two Petiteknit melange sweaters with Tynn Peer Gynt. I have a few more in queue as well. The yarn is so nice to work with, holds its shape, and wears really well. It’s slightly scratchy at the neckline but I don’t mind the feel of wool. It’s my ultimate workhorse yarn!
