Increase Ankle Mobility & Strength

  • Here are two exercises for ankle mobility!
There are many things you can do, but I personally just do
1.) Calf raises on a stairstep (or leaning against a wall).
    2.) Tibialis raises
Just doing these 2-3x a week (maybe at the end of your leg day or squat session) should increase your mobility and stability! Plus you get some resistance to injury.
    Have a great day!

You two have made working out fun with just knowing "try" is all you need.

That standing leg uses a lot of muscles to keep balance that’s why if you switch to your other leg it’ll be sore after a few minutes of riding. If you never ride on that leg. I'd be interested to see an "ankle stability" video as well that addresses foot strength and lateral ankle stability. I've been doing a variation of single leg RDLs that I feel works these areas: really working the toe flexors to "grip the floor" as well as the muscles on the sides of the ankle to maintain a stable ankle position throughout the movement.

    Example:
Monday: Pushups and leg raises, and then you could add 2 more exercises to stretch the muscles used.
(I heard that it's a good practice to do stretching after the muscles warmed up, and they are warmed up at the end of the workout.)
