I used to play this so much as a kid in Germany. if during the game you use all 5 cards in your hand but still have cards in your stock pile, do you pick up 5 cards immediately before the other player(s) turn or do you have to wait until it is your turn again? I thought it was the latter.
Maybe a stupid question but you can place different colour cards on top on each other? For example a blue 6 and then a red 7? I taught you had to match the colours 🙈 Thank you for this clear explanation. I own this game for about 4 years but we got so confused 😕
What to do when the draw pile is empty? Shuffle all completed sets we took out of the game? Also when you play all 5 cards in your hand you cant discard a card?

I just bought skipbo for my nephew for Christmas along with a couple of other card games I think he will like. I'm looking forward to playing with him.

We like to play a little differently, we have two rows that start with a 1 and count up and two that start with a 12 and count down.

No. You have to wait until you can play the top card.

Yes u shuffle completed sets...
When u play all 5 cards u withdraw another 5, for discard

Hi, what if all your discard piles are full and you cannot discard another card from your hand, because it doesn't fit in any of the piles?
Discard piles never are never full.. you may pile new cards overall with no order
so the different colors don't mean anything??

The colors display intensity, it's on the cover of the cards too, blue is 1-4, green 5-8, and red 9-12
