I love how when you watch the drama, there isn’t one moment that makes him like her, you see how he starts to become fonder and fonder of her and nicer to her over the course of the drama until he finally realized he’s fallen in love. It’s so well written and realistic.
at first, i was a bit annoyed when the queen came in because i thought that she was going to yell at chaegyung but turns out she didn't and told her to go outside so that she doesn't see the tabloid. and i love her so much,she and chaegyoung almost had the same fate but thank goodness she tried to prevent it by telling the prince to be kind at chaegyoung .. i just love the queen
Yes, she's protecting the crowned princess. But just like her CK stick to the man they really love. Unlucky for the Queen Mother her love for the King was never reciprocated unlike her son and CK developed and grow their love for each other.
Love also Shin's grandma because you could see that she loves Shin more than Yul. And Shin is more comfortable sharing and talking to her, so is with her sister.
The relationship development here was really believable and endearing. I don’t see this kind of slow burn romance in modern dramas anymore. Whenever I watch romance dramas nowadays, I always just feel confused and annoyed as to how they suddenly became so in love, it doesn’t make sense.
Exactly! This is the major difference I see between old and new kdramas. The old ones build up their relationship slowly until the viewers understand their relationship more and how it happened. Whereas a lot (not all, okay) are so fast-tracked that it hardly becomes realistic anymore and you can hardly keep up at all. What's good about princess hours is that none of us will ever experience being a royal (1 in a million lol), but they built up the story nicely that you get the sense of what they're going through and see it realistically. That's how I see it.

Ain Annie Qistina Jamaludin Exactly. I started watching kdramas recently and was almost going to stop cuz of too much drama, artificial cuteness and angel looking close ups. Romantic dramas are my guilty pleasure. But new kdramas are too much to handle. But somehow I stumbled upon this drama. It’s so natural and subtle. I don’t know how many times I said aww.

This was my first k-drama. I'm addicted to it. I was in my grade 6 when I watched this. Now I'm already 23 yrs old, and still watching this. My favorite kdrama including Save the Last Dance, Full House and My Girl. 😍
With every episode you can see how affectionate and caring he is. He shows it at times when she is sleeping or when Chae Kyung is confused/upset. Two 19 year olds having to deal with an arranged royal marriage and publicity would be so difficult for anyone.

Even though there's a Thai version of this, it can never be replaced. This drama is more mature and makes you feeling a bunch of emotions. Missing this 2 together though.
Julie yah the Thai version they made in their own way ....especially the palace of Korea brings the feel into us ..the way of greeting... dressing style... the school..especially the balcony where yul n chaegyung used to talk...no one can replace goong..💗 lovely couples shin goon and chagyeung never ever can replace the couple...in Thai it was prince inn and khaning yah it was good but not good lyk goong waiting for the goong2

I had high expectation before, cause i've watched Full House Thailand and it was amazing. I thought that Princess Hours Thailand would be well made to, turns out it was really a let down

Hindi kona mabilang kung ilang beses kona tong pinanuod😂 elementary days and now im 27, sabi nga nila hindi ka daw "true kdrama fan if hindi mo pa ito napapanuod" and tito's and tita's na ang tawag sa mga taong unang nakapanuod neto at isa naku dun😂 at isa lang ang masasabi ko kahit siguro nasa 50s naku eto yung kdrama na babalik balikan ko at hindi ako magsasawa. yung kilig, tawa at iyak na nagawa ng kdrama nato nung kabataan ko at hanggang ngayun walang makakapantay. this kdrama is a masterpiece, timeless and never get's old. 💖
15 years and I still feel the thrill and kilig while watching these two.. 😆 it never lose it's space in my heart... this was the kdrama that got me hooked to kdramas.. even ksongs 😆 this always be part of my teenage days... Feel the same way about it, just found out this drama this year 2022, and I was crazy about it 'til now. Even bought the DVD also, but it's a bit disappointing coz characters'names were all different in the subtitle, and that throws me off 😜🤪😂
왜 10년도 지난 드라마 인물에 사람들이 불만을 가지는지 모르겠는 1인ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ저당시 감성은 지금하고 다르고 순정만화책을 모티브로 만든건데 에휴 노땅들 참 많아 이해력이 딸리면 1화부터 봐라 마지막에 남주가 여주한테 하는게 변해가는 과정이 재밌는게 포인트인데 현실성 구분없이 그냥 욕하는애들이 있네 ㅉㅉ

Even though there's a Thai version of this, it can never be replaced. This drama is more mature and makes you feeling a bunch of emotions. Missing this 2 together though.
Julie yah the Thai version they made in their own way ....especially the palace of Korea brings the feel into us ..the way of greeting... dressing style... the school..especially the balcony where yul n chaegyung used to talk...no one can replace goong..💗

Julie i agree... The thai version is not as good as this. The characters in the Thai version imo werent as interesting as Princess Hours. I had high expectation before, cause i've watched Full House Thailand and it was amazing. I thought that Princess Hours Thailand would be well made to, turns out it was really a let down

Hindi kona mabilang kung ilang beses kona tong pinanuod😂 elementary days and now im 27, sabi nga nila hindi ka daw "true kdrama fan if hindi mo pa ito napapanuod" and tito's and tita's na ang tawag sa mga taong unang nakapanuod neto at isa naku dun😂 at isa lang ang masasabi ko kahit siguro nasa 50s naku eto yung kdrama na babalik balikan ko at hindi ako magsasawa. yung kilig, tawa at iyak na nagawa ng kdrama nato nung kabataan ko at hanggang ngayun walang makakapantay. this kdrama is a masterpiece, timeless and never get's old. 💖

I really got crazy over this drama.. watch it many times (but skip hyo rin's part)🤣🤣 I memorize their ost.. even printed out the lyrics... I remember I even have a poster of them 😆😆😆 waaaahhh tch those are the days...
Feel the same way about it, just found out this drama this year 2022, and I was crazy about it 'til now. Even bought the DVD also, but it's a bit disappointing coz characters'names were all different in the subtitle, and that throws me off 😜🤪😂
